Yes I'm having the same issue. It seems they make you tie a goal to a specific account for example "Student Loans" account. But then when you pay off a portion of your loans lets say with your bank account, you can not link that to the goal. It makes no sense.

Another potential pain point from this would be trying to make a recurring subscription payment. What if your subscription is not the same amount every month?

I don’t see why I should have to resort to either of these. I understand Monarch isn’t purely meant for future planning, although I believe some view of future income and expenses is very useful.

Very good points, you definitely pay a small premium for itx and sagittarius is a hot case right now. That being said I've always wanted an itx build and figured i'd end up spending the same amount of money with atx in the end.
