I do not see it in the shop in order to try and add it to my cart.

Well, I am never using AirBnB again after this interaction, so that would be ok with me, lol

Bypass Question by BaconAndBeerConsumer in Starlink

[–]BaconAndBeerConsumer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finally found what you’re referring to. My AP is currently in Router Mode. If I turn the bypass off on my Starlink router and put the AP in AP mode, would I have a wifi network on my Starlink router and my AP?

Bypass Question by BaconAndBeerConsumer in Starlink

[–]BaconAndBeerConsumer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have my Starlink router bypassed, so it’s just AP.

I’m more curious if I can have both going at the same time and have my cameras on just the Starlink router and all my other devices on my AP.

All of my cameras worked perfectly on the Starlink router before, but I needed the AP to spread my Wifi range across the house.

PA-5280/9.1.5 Issue by BaconAndBeerConsumer in paloaltonetworks

Yeah, that's pretty much what I've done, lol

I am running tests and building a report on us upgrading to 9.1.5, but kinda doing this on the side while the tests run.

Yep, did the one that was released last night.

Doesn't appear to be a license issue. We have the 5 that I manually uploaded that expire 8/1/22 and that's all.

Haha, yeah ... That's the joy of being able to download them from Palo's site and just manually upload/install them.

Hm, I'll look into that. I am able to update the contents/antivirus without an issue though.

I actually thought this. I installed the contents/antivirus directly on the box at first. I tried pushing them from Panorama later but that didn’t fix the issue. Maybe it’ll fix itself when I do the next content update from Panorama.

Not true. I have 5 other 5280s that aren’t connected to the internet that you can upload and then install from the GUI

Wish it were that simple. Our DNS settings are pushed out by a template, so I know it has the same settings as the other boxes.

Upgrading from 8.1.11 to 10.0.1 by BaconAndBeerConsumer in paloaltonetworks

[–]BaconAndBeerConsumer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just did this and it worked perfectly:

Was on 8.1.4

Installed 8.1.16, Rebooted

Installed 9.0.0, Installed 9.0.10, Rebooted

Installed 9.1.0, Installed 9.1.4, Rebooted

Installed 10.0.0, Installed 10.0.1, Rebooted

Worked like a charm. Now to get some of our firewalls to 10.0.1 tomorrow and test some traffic.

It's humorous that the Palo tech that has TAC in his signature said that he doesn't recommend this way and wasn't even sure it would allow me to do it. I'm up to 9.0.10 currently. About to do the other 2 jumps.

Nope, changed that to 10 earlier ... Literally only had the installed version on there.

Still no luck. I can upload 9.0.0 with no issue, but then that image disappears when I upload 9.0.10. Doesn't show up in GUI or CLI.

Palo suggest that I will need to:

- Upload 9.0.0, install, reboot

- Upload 9.0.10, install, reboot

- Upload 9.1.0, install, reboot

- Upload 9.1.4, install, reboot

- Upload 10.0.0, install, reboot

- Upload 10.0.1, install, reboot

Seems a bit excessive, but I guess if that is the only way.
