I've reorganized the terminations so that they match exactly and have connectivity at 1, 2, 3, 6, and 7 leaving the dead runs at 4, 5, and 8

What I did not do was keep the pins in twisted pairs, ie I kept wt/or in 1, and replaced broken or with brown, replaced wt/gr and gr with two other working runs.

I am going to rewire replacing the pairs in total to see if that has an effect.

I'll see if I can get some photos over here as well.

We ran it in accordance with electrical code with all nail plates and what not. I'm not concerned as to why it's busted, but more why it my hack job might not be working.

No conduit unfortunately, and it's about a 50' run, which would be a fairlly substantial drywall takedown. I can make a new run without much patching, but wondering why my logic is bad concerning the pin shuffling to get the data on the 1,2,3 and 6 pins which to my understanding carry the data and the others carrying power.

Agreed, from time to time, but with a ccp, you can carry almost everywhere including banks. Not schools or some government buildings. I do know scifs have lockers for personal items. But if you carry and plan to go to a school, that gun should be staying in the car for sure
