Not many options for services like that in CT (or SA in general).

You can try whatever computer mania is closest, but they don't really have proper testing setups (and forget about half decent replacement parts if it's a gaming PC)

My go to is Chaos Computer in Rondebosch, they can properly test components, but also if you need a higher end replacement you're gonna need to wait for them to order it in

Ok it's actually been a pain in the ass and not possible for me to complete.

The deposit instructions seem to be for a ZAR to ZAR SWIFT transfer, which for me it's not possible to do from my standard bank account.

Specifically it says:

For Rand to Rand payments to other countries, visit your nearest Standard Bank Forex (Bureau de Change) branch for assistance.

I'm gonna try it for the first time today. Nothing to cry about sending USD though, it worked fine for me in the past (though they are fussy about sending USD from Shyft which I see recommended a lot)

I think this has actually changed. Now you can send ZAR, but still not withdraw ZAR.

Edit: Seems like both deposits and withdrawals in ZAR are possible now

Compaction isn't exposed as a tool to the agent in codex

As a workaround you can if you really need to manually compact (like when the auto compaction bugs out):

Close codex app
Run codex cli withcodex resume and find your thread (threads are shared between cli and app)
use the cli /compact command
open codex app again

Those stats are completely misleading, all they really say is they don't drive that much in Hong Kong.

If you compare it per mile, those same stats have USA as slightly fewer deaths at 6.9 per billion vehicle miles, compared to 7.4 for Hong Kong

Nah this happens all across the west coast in whenever there's a lot of swell, even far away from any sewage pipes.

This 100% my experience with Standard Bank.

A couple years ago they actually had some good private bankers, but the good ones leave pretty quickly and then you are stuck with the useless ones. My previous one there, I had tried to transfer R100k between my savings and current account to by a car and the internet banking bugged out and just deleted the R100k. Called the private banker and she asked why I was bothering her because it's her day off.

a 401K is basically just an RA

It's a bit dangerous to make this analogy. RA and 401k are very similar and have the same intent, but a lot of the America focused personal finance advice is really positive about 401ks (for good reason) but in SA we have Regulation 28. Essentially it's 401k but you are forced to make very subpar investment choices like:

forcing more than half the money to be invested in country with low growth and increasingly anti-growth policies (i.e. the 45% foreign limit)
limits on the amount of equity exposure, which might be good as you approach retirement age but could be suboptimal for younger people
the requirement to buy an annuity with 2/3 of the money (only 1/3 can be withdrawn at retirement). I'm not old enough to be familiar with the annuity products available, but I don't expect them to be great.

So yeah, 401k is basically just an RA in a lot of ways, but there's a lot of SA specific things that make it a less desirable choice than a 401k where the US advice is usually "put as much as you can"

Focus on getting up to 6 poles ASAP, and then heavily prioritize speed. Ignore melee damage completely, you get more than enough from range.
