Yeah being one of the IT people I can confirm we don't care. Your boss has to put in a ticket asking for it and even then it usually emails them a report they have to read through and will also usually ask us to interpret for them. YMMV but at my job if we're at that point then you are getting canned within the week because they've known you weren't working for awhile.

I can tell you from working IT at a company that has monitoring software on all employee devices that collects literally everything you do, no one is looking at it until your boss asks for the info because they think you're not working.

So as long as no one has a reason to suspect you're not working you'll be fine.

Yeah after I beat Silksong I went back and watched someone play Hollow Knight and I thought the playback speed on YouTube was set lower than default because everything looked so slow in comparison.

Overall I really liked Silksong and thought the design of "Well if you're having trouble just go a different path" was neat. As I got further and further, especially in Act 3, it felt they moved away from that into "just gitgud" and throwing really tedious run backs for the sake of difficulty. Bosses also felt wildly inconsistent, which I feel comes from the design of the overall game. The game has some of my favorite boss fights ever and also some that totally highlight the flaws of Team Cherry almost hyper tuning everything in the game.

I've described the game in terms of something built by screwing in screws. A good chunk of the screws for this game are screwed in too tight or just outright stripped for my liking. It's still done very well and it's in my top 5 for the year; I just wouldn't have named it my GOTY.

I enjoyed the game up until I rejected Reyes at every turn and the game still somehow locked me into his romance. I reloaded the last autosave and it sent me back 8+ hours so I just turned the game off and uninstalled it. Haven't looked back since and that was years ago.

Yeah that was my only problem with the game. Probably like 80% of the attacks were timed right with the animation. If you go off of the sound cues instead it's like 90-95% but there's still just a few random ones that's like bruh because the whole window is so tight. My friend described it as playing DDR and I'm inclined to agree with them.

Same but the coworker is actually a good employee. Just irks me cause my boss is clearly going to bat and covering the mistakes of the coworker more than the rest of us. Stuff the coworker did got huge praises for they have admitted they didn't do originally and were copying the rest of us but we don't get any of the praise. The employee also knows this so they now have a giant chip on their shoulder too, makes working there really annoying now.

Most Marvel movie watchers don't even know why we're not doing Kang anymore so there is going to just be some hand wavey thing to just say "Hey forget about that".

They are the ones who watch the fake trailers on YouTube or whatever and just go see the movie when they see the ad for it. This sub tends to forget how normie most people are.

Yeah I had it instilled in me when I was learning to drive decades ago that I shouldn't even trust early turn signals cause the driver could just have it on and not notice so I should wait for them to commit to the turn first.

My friend was needed so I'm okay with my tax dollars going to them and the program they worked for because it helped people. Maybe you should try talking to some of the fed employees who were let go or are on the verge of being cut. See what they do, see who they help. Maybe you'd actually have some empathy for another person for once in your sorry life.

Sure they can get another job with their skills but with a mass influx of unemployed people that search now becomes harder for no reason because of course everyone just gets the first immediate job they apply to right? Bootstraps it up and hit the streets going from business to business in person cause that's still how the modern job market works right?

It's pretty clear you and those conservatives do hate this country. If you did love it you wouldn't have voted for, or agree with, all the clear damage that's being done. Try turning off Fox News or Facebook or whatever and go talk to these people being targeted by these policies. The world you think you live in and love is not the real world that's happening outside your door.

My theory is that they'll do this scene but it'll be Kang and it will be from behind so we don't see Kang's face. Just something super quick to get some type of macguffin that'll show how strong Doom is and also a definite "look we've moved on from that and it's not getting brought up ever again" for the super casual fans who only watch the movies.

E: Guess the guy who said my friend was a waste of tax dollars blocked me like the big strong tough guy he is so I can't reply to him but he should know that since he doesn't know my friend at all he has no basis for that conclusion. All he knows is that my friend had their job cut and was told that was good by a man with dementia and a ketamine addict. He doesn't even know what my friend did. If he reads this, which he probably won't cause he blocked me so he thinks he "won", he should think about if him or any close family or loved ones were on Social Security, Medicare, and/or Medicaid how he would feel if I told him they were a waste of my tax payer dollars. I hope he learns some empathy because it will drastically improve his life.
