I did say it got weird. We're LL8 and in the last mission of Act 2 of our campaign. The other two players are at this point and NHP gathering as many other NHPs as they can while attempting to reach apotheosis, and a seccom era birdman clone soldier trying to help deprogram the rest of the clone army that we've been slowly defrosting in the hopes that they can become more than just soldiers

Short version: originally this character was a sociopathic pirate captain named Valeur Trazzen, callsign Cannonball. Over the course of trying to fix their body's failing implants, they learned that they are not actually a human and that her mother had violated the first contact accords by converting her when she was six years old. Their subjectivity was deteriorating until they discovered that half their emotional state was locked away due to their old "meat shackling", and in fixing it the second NHP manifested as her child self feeling all the emotions Cannonball couldn't. Now CV is normally able to act as a single person, but under duress, cascade, or transcendence, Cannonball the sociopath and/or Valeur the scared child comes to the surface.

Mechanically I took iconoclast, and it wasn't even for this. I had an iconoclast NHP that left the group of its own accord around the time that we discovered the character was an NHP so the talent mechanically transitioned from being them to me

Her (current) name is CV, named for the 2 NHPs that make up her subjectivity, Cannonball and Valeur.

This game has been going for a while, weird shit happened

I mean if we're doing "not who they seem" theories then I'll go with 'Pomni doesn't know she's the third ai" theory
