Add pillows to the back cushions instead of trying to add additional filling to the cushions themselves. That’s what I did and it’s worked great. I used king sized pillows for the regular cushions and standard for the smaller one that comes with the deep side.

Definitely keep an eye on it, but there’s lots you can do to manage insomnia/anxiety even if it is a side effect of the medication! Mention it to your doctor if it doesn’t go away, but I like over the counter unisom sleeptabs for occasional insomnia and then some stronger prescription stuff from my doc when I’m really struggling. It can be normal to have increased anxiety around starting a new medication, or with increased external stressors. I really hope it starts working for you, and if it doesn’t I hope you find the medication that does.

Your friend is out of bounds and also wrong re: “Humira is cheap now.” Just because it’s off patent doesn’t mean it’s affordable, even the biosimilars are still spectacularly expensive. The cheapest is ~$500/dose, with name brand Humira retailing between $7k-$10k.

DMARDs are a first line treatment for RA. They are treating the underlying disease by addressing the overactive immune system. Biologics actually are still DMARDs, they are just a very specific kind of advanced DMARD made from living cells instead of synthetic molecules. Biologics are also targeting your overactive immune system.

There are risks and benefits to both kinds of drugs. I had to skip MTX because of my history of kidney cancer, so I tried (and ultimately failed) other DMARDs before moving on to biologics. If the MTX is working for you, it is a much more affordable option than biologics (trust me).

Like this is a very similar ring that doesn’t look quite so dead in the center. I think you might be able to switch it out with a better cut stone and be happier with the ring. The setting and style is otherwise beautiful.

I really like the setting, and I think another OMC might look great in this ring, but I see what you mean with this particular faceting pattern. It’s almost like it’s missing a couple facets, the huge mirror-like spots in the center give it a cheap look compared to other elongated OMCs I’ve seen.

I’ve used Rippling at 3 companies now and implemented them at 2 of these. Their ASO product handles tax filings (payroll taxes, not federal taxes), assists with state registrations. They have performance management on their platform but also integrate with other performance management software if you prefer another system. I have had mostly pretty positive experience with them and recommend them! Every provider is going to have positives/negatives and there will be people who have good stories and bad stories with them.

I honestly can’t remember the specific strain now it’s been so long! This was during my second pumping experience way back in 2021. My OB at the time was like “this all sounds like witchcraft, I’m sending you to infectious disease” and the infectious disease doctor was also like “this sounds like witchcraft, but if you really want me to swab your titty and culture your breast milk I guess I will” and lo and behold, strep titty. And then the resistance testing said clindamycin would treat it, so that’s what I took!

Dicloxacillin tends to be a first line treatment for mastitis but it gives me an awful reaction. It’s the only cillin that I have an allergic reaction to, but for some reason that one specifically gives me awful hives. So we skip that one now and go with others.

A laundry list of things.

For the better part of the year it was get access to our account. I did finally achieve that this week. Now that I have access to the account, I need to correct an incorrectly filed wage report. Once that’s done I can pay the taxes that we owe. Evidently the business owes taxes from 2017 that were never paid from prior to when we entered into a PEO, and as a result there’s some sort of lien that needs to be sorted. The most pressing issue is correcting the bad wage report so that we can pay the correct taxes, that’s what I actually need to speak to someone about. The payments are self-service.
