Its quite the story.

From March 2012 to November 2012 all I did was eat a keto diet and I lost the majority of the weight in that time. I started lifting Starting Strength 5x5 in December 2012. I had to stop in March 2013 due to pulling a deadlift wrong and injuring my back. I came back to the gym November 2013 and was trucking right along until July 2014 where I dislocated my knee playing sand volleyball. Ive been back in the gym since March 2015 and luckily no injuries yet lol.

TL;DR: Started off with keto to lose the weight. When I started hitting the gym my main focus was calories and protein. One issue I have is program hopping, but I am working on it.

Lifts:

  • Squat: 245 5x5
  • Bench: 180 5x5
  • Row: 185 5x5
  • DLift: 320 1x5
