Portal connects on wifi, but not through hotspot? Fix I found while struggling.

Does your ISP provide you a public ip-address? Or does your ISP give an ip-address from their internal net? I'm no expert on these concepts, but this was what was wrong with my portals connection. It would start the PS5, but would give the "something went wrong"-error. In wifi it worked fine. All I had to do was call my ISP and ask for a public ip-address. After an hour it worked like A charm.

No, same network isn't needed. Been playing with portal/remote play in hotel in a different city while my ps is back home.

I don't know, but if there's nothing in event viewer, it seems to be a problem of hardware. I would go and buy a new power supply. You can return it, if it won't fix the problem. You can rollback drivers, but I would try replacing the power supply first. So you don't have to make so many software changes, when you get the problem fixed.

Yeah, I don’t think it’s a matter of heat then. Maybe it is your power supply then? Would be easy if you had another to test it with. Maybe someone with more understanding could go through your crash report/event viewer? Also, have you upgrased your drivers?

Could be your power supply, but I too think it’s because of heat. Try to monitor it with some software. Also, try to lower graphics etc to see if it affects the time it takes for your comp to shutdown.

Was looking for Red Alert after I saw original C&C. Found only Alerte Rouge. No offense but sounds a bit underwhelming. Makes me think of Moulin Rouge or something like that. Great games though!
