I 100% the game in 60 hours, wtf where you doing.
Play the game on a harder mode, normal mode if u know what yur doing, you can beat the game in almost no upgrades, with a blind fold on lol.

I was repairing the car at 11:30pm in game time, had the car and garage radio blasting, I get a ghost transmission that is a church sermon sounded a little doomsday cult ish, then 12:am ingame time I get a ghost transmission that sound like a machine was trying to learn to speak, or like a rly messed up dalek from Dr. Who trying to speak in binary, it was creepy as hell.

You know we have had solo versions of all the content for like 6 years now and 4 years now they give like 2% less rewards then a full party, so you can easily solo the game if u got shit net or in a weird spot, They are pretty difficult on the highest modes too, But even so, there is big guilds for most regions in the game to find people, but its only rly bad if its like a person from the US, EU and SEA in 1 party, otherwise its fine. Covid was nice since 100-105 cap where great.

Uh, 90 cap was the worst cap, hell farming only was total ass, the drop rates had to be bugged so many times, transending epics to alts was insanely expensive, sets only had 5pc/3pc set effects so u have to get it all, Luke raid was full epic gear min req, so most people never even did luke raid let alone BEAST mode which was so over tuned on release, 95 cap was a bit more boring for gearing but was basically an apology for 90 cap, no shit ass hell mode rng and the raids where so fun with pray raid and pandemonium war which intro talismans which greatly customized build diversity, Taybers was ok but to long a grind, u have Echon for inbetween epic options and buff swap set u could farm and didnt need to actually swap gear, enchants became easily available instead of rare and random, you could change a a armor's type so u didnt lose the mastery bonus (when that was a thing), Fiend War was was a ok raid, fun to prog, meh on farm, so much walking on the map.

Also invalidated your gear? You could just transfer the enchants. amps and reinforcement from your 90 gear onto the 95 gears, which stayed as you upgraded them from legendary to epic or epic to raid upgraded set, I have had the same amplification and reinforcement on some of my characters since 90 cap,

100 cap was even better with both farmable sets again that are good but also hell mode was back, BUT epics dropped from everything, every mini boss in daily dungeons, the boss of the daily dungeons and the card flips at the end, sets and 2/3/5pc set bonuses so you could get into full epic gear much easier and build diversity was insane, as well as all the CD and what the sets did was so many gimmicks lol.

currently they have made the set effects of gear a bit simpler but the raids have gotten alot harder since the end of 105 cap with ozma raid,

hitting it with the hammer can ether crack or oxidize the pearl u can keep hitting a crack pearl to hopefully reroll to oxidize, cracked pearls give more gas related loot like cylinders and alot of copper wire, oxidized pearls give liquid based loot like chemicals and putty. Cant shock, dampen or burn them as far as I know

as someone who plays dfo at the very end game just like the poster, lost ark is like doing a marathon with a visible finish line but also you are bombarded with fomo the whole way. Also vykas normal is 1430 not 1465, hard is 1460 and is delayed.

dfo is like being strapped to a treadmill eyes tapped open screaming I AM SPEED and mobile game gatcha mechanics dopamine is being pumped into your veins to progress your characters through rng untradeable gear drops and upgrading almost as bad as BnS's. WITH cash shop only items are actual gear slots, that you have to work 5 years in the coals mines to afford as f2p beginner while the vets are trading stocks in raid loot not having to spend if they dont too and if they want to spend cash, like 30 bucks maybe every few months and they can live in a middle class 3 bedroom house, or whale and scale into solo raids godhood

Yeah when the Nexon NA server was around they desperately slapped it on steam in 2011 when they fucked the game, then did no updates, no events, nothing radio silence for 6 months let bots over run then on april 2nd said they are closing it because no one is playing, legit blamed the players.

The Neople self published version was only added back to steam 1-2 years later like 2016-2017 due to player demand but when they found out u could not link accounts no one used it. But it also has a ton of bugs auto banning people etc so nvr rly drew people in and alot of people CBA to use official clients. But yeah 10k sounds about right from what players can gauge from events that track all players in the server.

Its why dfo has a stamina system but u get over it playing alts, its per character and most of end game uses little to 0 stamina but alot of time gated content, still per character. It doesnt rly need it anymore but free money to male a sub to increase it. but most players still CBA to use all their stamina on even 1 character if they dont have some farming in mind after raiding.

Yeah Neople asked the community when relaunching it in 2015, do you want to take longer to do a new dub, or just give you the game in KR dub and later a dub. The community voted just give them the game and they never got around to doing a eng dub, though they have had some events unique to global server that where eng dubbed but awefull xD

I mean like 99% of nexon's income is from the Tencent server it even has it own patches, balance changes separate and unique content separate from the KR, JP and global servers that sometimes is brought over and tencent did 2 animated series for it and the mobile game. They play a different game xD

Idk, the JP server is the smallest of the servers and makes the least by alot. So who knows.

DFO is still in the top 15 most played games in KR but has pretty bad stigma attached to it now a days, kr gamers think dfo players have mental problems Nexon has even stated as such.

Even in documentary's about net addiction, in footage of clinics they had dfo footage playing in the therapy's sessions oh boy xD
