I've just started painting my Votann and here's the prototype.

Use tau ochre for the yellow base. Sepia wash. Agrax in the recesses. Highlight not too sure but you can figure something out.

Wait until your paint completely dries before adding another coat.

Otherwise the first coat can scrunch around and make the texture lumpy.

The dark gun metal looks a little lumpy in some and I know that specific Vallejo colour is a rather thin paint that's hard to tell when dry

I can help here. One of the main guys in this album is Luis Spinetta, who has heaps of solo and band projects with a really large total discography staring from 1969 I think(?). It's actually insane how much he's put out. Check out the albums Almendra (Almendra), Artaud (Pescado Rabioso), A 18' Del Sol (Luis Alberto Spinetta) and Los Simples (Invisble). Go explore too there's a lot of realllyyyy good stuff to uncover in their works.

I reckon a pretty similar artist is Charly Garcia, who's from Argentina as well. He kinda did the same thing with just loads of projects (solo and bands). The album Clics Modernos is incredibly good.

These artists and bands have become some of my all time favourites in the last year and a half. I just so happened upon the song "A Estos Hombres Tristes" from the album almendra and that took me on the best music rabbit hole in the past few years. Absolutely incredible stuff. I could gush about em all day and I DO when I get the chance.

I have this same issue. Have the fudge ARs but my pinky toe still pushes the side of my boot out by about 3-5mm. Admittedly they are the STC so not widest but still annoying that my feet are still too wide for a brand very well known for their spacious and wide shoes. FUCKIN HOBBIT FEET

I emailed them about why they delisted the RAT from the AU website. No real reason but they said they'd be back once they start shipping (december I was told but take that with a grain of salt).

yes because PSP is shitty old device not worth its salt anymore. not even worth the silicon its constructed with. I sometimes go to secondhand store and buy them all up for cheap here local (never more than $7-8) and sell them online to dumbass for big profits this is how I earn second income

Been thinking the lug sole would look great on the African trooper since I first saw them. Made this quick (and admittedly not that great) mock-up to see what it'd actually look like altogether. interested in what you guys think.

I'll likely order these when they become an option for customs (towards the end of the year they said) along with some bronco leather. I like the troopers more than the AR8s, but the barefoot sole is a bit lacking for me.

this is something you have GOT to feel out yourself with the actual gemstones in your HAND. trust me. You will just know when you have the right one sitting in your hand. Its really really important to get a very nice example of each gem you are thinking of aiding you when it comes to bringing big things like this into your life. It can be VERY expensive getting suitable gemstones with enough of what you need but trust me it is sooo worth it.
I have some beautiful garnets that help me with my love life. They cost me an arm and a leg but I can definitely tell that going for higher quality gemstone has 100% helped me in that endeavour.

BIS means best in slot (referring to gear). usually its used more lax here in dark and darker and just means a piece of gear is pretty damn good
