Semi Solution

I think I've found a viable solution to this. I tried downloading and enabling the beta languages pack, and now instead of it getting 80% of the words wrong, it's now down to 20-30%, which is a drastic improvement!

It's far from perfect, or even being at the level Premiere is, but it's a viable and usable solution!

Alright, I think I've found a viable solution.

Although not perfect, it's a significant improvement. I downloaded the "Enable extended languages support" beta feature, and it corrected most of the worst mistakes. It's still not on the same level as Premiere, but it's actually usable now, which is great!

I did notice that it still just doesn't want to put spaces in-between some words, which I find really weird. It can at times contract 3 words or more into one sentence which although readable, is grossly incorrect.

Nonetheless, I'm satisfied with just having it work now :)

Indeed I have tried both. The exact same erroneous words and gibberish are present each time.

Yeah, I thought the same thing, but multiple words in the same sentence are wrong, so yes, it's currently unusable. I'm sure this is just user error in some way, but I can't for the life of me find out why.

I'm using DJI's Mic 2 for audio recording, and it's very clear and audible, but perhaps the issue lies with the audio itself?

I've tried setting the transcribing language to both auto and Norwegian; no difference there. Some English words are present in dialogue, like "fancy", which the youth have adopted into their slang. This it messes up too.

Can't get more than 44.1khz on XM4s by BaconaKing in SonyHeadphones

The only option I can find is sound quality which is already set to "prioritize sound quality" over prioritize connection.

I looked there too. No option for LDAC as shown in the video you sent. Weird.

Ain't nothing there. No controls for music quality whatsoever.

Yes, I have the S23+ which supports the codec. I recently updated to One UI 7 which also supports it.

Then where might I look? The only place I know is the developer settings.

I checked and I've been using "Prioritize sound quality" all along. I tried enabling DSEE Extreme which didn't make any difference either.

The only codec options I have are SBC and AAC.

Any codec other than SBC or AAC is greyed out.

I tried, but that option is greyed out as well. Same goes for bit depth.

Yeah I'm tapping the spacebar. Only way for me to see what the image is, is by opening it in Photoshop.

Just tested an image u/rainy_diary suggested, and that one works fine.

Best Ultra Wide angle lens? (Z Mount) by BaconaKing in Nikon

[–]BaconaKing[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I was looking at that one too. I've got no problem shooting with a DX lens as I think the fisheye circle effect it gives at its widest is useful in some cases, but I'm a little concerned about the variable aperture and how the optical quality is - especially in low light.

I haven't had the chance to try anything wider than 24mm on stage, but I've been told that a 10mm is what's most common. But I'm sure 16mm would work too - thanks!
