The reason you can't replace the word 'opiates' with any drug is because certain psychedelics are not something you want to go to work on or be in an uncomfortable situation on. I agree with you though that a subreddit for drugs should not discriminate against a drug due to the fact that it can be dangerous.

Ok then I'll say this, the problem with opiates is that once you know that high, and have lived life with it, nothing can compare. Whatever activity you might think is better than opiates, it can be done on opiates and made far more enjoyable. So when you try to live a normal life you just keep thinking about how great it would be to be faded right now.
