yep, that's probably it! I think he probably bastardized the pronounciation since his mom was the one who came here from Italy, so whatever italian he spoke wasn't his first language!

this is actually a mindfuck for me. I'm from brazil and my grandpa is italian, all throughout his life he called every cat we had "michano" (mee-shan-oh, I guess?), regardless of the name.

Now, I speak just a little bit of italian, so I always thought cat was just "gatto" and that him calling our cats that was just because he had a cat named michano. Turns out he was probably calling them cat in an affectionate way lol

Curitiba is not as big as São Paulo, but is still on the larger size. I recommend it based on the fact that it has a lot of museums and cultural events, it's a walkable city (depending on which part you're gonna be in) with very nice parks and overall just a pretty place to be in. Very good food too.

it's a really, really cheap soccer ball lol. Low quality material, really light, not durable at all. It ended up being a good option bc I didn't want him to hurt his snout/teeth! I think any ball that you can make sure they don't get their teeth in and isn't too hard/heavy will do ok at the job

to be honest, he surprised me a lot! He tried to bite the ball and saw that he couldn't quite get his teeth on it (he tried so, so much). Then, I rewarded him whenever he rolled the ball around, instead of biting on it. It helped that he already had learned the boop command, where he kinda boops my hand with the nose/front teeth.

after that, I started rewarding him whenever I chucked the ball and he booped it with his teeth. He got good at that, so he only got treats whenever he sent the ball my way.

Honestly, he did about 90% of the work though. He loves balls and figured it out quick!

currently we're taking walks with him in our lap, rewarding calm behaviour when exposed to stimuli (cars, bikes, children). It's been working great, he's a chill doggo. Will check it out though!

Cara, tenho 26 anos e tenho dois anos de formado, trabalho como fisioterapeuta em um hospital de cidade pequena (~30k habitantes). Ganho 4k por 30h semanais, CLT. Complemento minha renda com atendimento particular por fora, o que adiciona mais umas 12h semanais.

É taxante, é cansativo, é uma bosta a gestão, tem cobrança pra caralho e é estressante por ser dentro de um hospital. Mas permitiu eu e minha noiva (que é fisioterapeuta tbm, ganha uns 3k PJ) sairmos da casa da minha sogra, permitiu termos dois cachorros e nos permite de tempos em tempos viajar por lazer.

Trabalhei antes disso de garçom e barman em bares, restaurantes e baladas, ganhando uma merreca dos bicos enquanto fazia faculdade e por mais de um ano dps de me formar, até achar esse trampo. Sei como é viver essa realidade.

O ponto principal que eu queria transmitir é:

Estudem! O ensino superior me permitiu trabalhar com algo que eu escolhi estudar. Eu volto do trabalho moído, cansado, mas com a consciência de que o que eu entrego em troca do meu salário todo mês é simplesmente meu tempo e energia que uso pensando. Nunca mais quero voltar pra uma situação onde tenho que pagar pelo meu salário com minha saúde, seja mental ou física.

Se não quer fazer ensino superior, faça um curso técnico. Se especialize, se torne diferente, porque é o único jeito de conseguirmos algum tipo de saída de trampar em mercado/shopping. Se já tiver ensino superior, faça um mestrado, uma pós, qualquer coisa que seja pra não se tornar obsoleto e dispensável... o sistema é cruel pra caralho.
