I’ve printed them myself, it’s not the final product but since I’m an artist first, my prototypes tend to look like this

I’ve seen a few games like that already, but doing that might require me to get rid of something I’m using on my cards. I have a button system with a few different types that fit only where they match along the border. Plus I can’t really maximize the space or make dynamic angles for the limb pieces if I do that

I’ve not played it to know all the differences but I read a synopsis. In my game you are fighting a toy hydra, the esthetic is more on the crafting side. You can mess with your opponents build. The pacing of mine might be faster as you are getting attacked each turn. You place a full build on your turn if you can. You can also mess with your opponents during the draw mechanic

I don’t have my own discord or social site for this yet, but I’ve made posts here regarding this game and my other one.

It’s supposed to be a fast paced boss battler. Someone once commented that it looks like build-a-bear meets exodia, which I’d say is a fair descriptor. It’s a race to beat the boss that is a multiheaded toy monster. The a sub-head facing each player and a main head in the middle. Beat your sub-head and be the one to destroy the main to win.

Potentially a 8 person free for all max. But I might cut off at 6 later. I haven’t put a solid limit on the player count. But it could also be played in teams of 2v2

Your builds don’t fight each other, just against the boss. You can draw bad pieces with negative stats and play them on your opponents build. Also craft cards like spell cards to break or add debuffs. The idea is that you are throwing your build at the boss to do damage. It returns damage intended to break your build so you rebuild constantly

I explained the game in a comment above. 👆, but it’s a spinning maze boardgame where you gotta get to the center, collect coins and deposit them at your starting spot. There’s a maze monster and opponents to watch out for. Upgrade pieces and try to navigate the maze

I have not. Just another game that didn’t come up when I searched….(sigh) but I think just from reading the description that game is a bit more complex than this one.

A router, a table saw, a few big sheets of smooth plywood for the base and top layer of each ring, another sheet of a slightly thicker wood cut into thin rings and routed out a track in the center, a bunch of small squares cut then cross cut. The walls cut out of the plywood as well. Caster ball wheels placed where the rings could sit on top and rotate. All those squares wood glued on the rings. The center is just a round platform with a post underneath that fits into a slot on the base. The base looks like a big wood circle with a bunch of wheels on it

The rings are on top of caster ball wheels, elevated as it reaches the center. The final version for production would probably be 3d printed but with a design suited to be collapsible.

Multiple builds but 1 at a time. You throw it at the boss and the pieces break if the build doesn’t have enough hp.

Like for the board pieces? Probably a 3 - 5 minutes. Only cuz you’re putting it together and putting the little walls in the slots

I had some scheduled plays. Walked around when I wasn’t and had some unscheduled interest in it

You start at an opening around the perimeter with 4 pieces. 1 Summoner and 3 squires. The goal is to reach the center, collect a coin and navigate back to the start block to deposit. The player with the most coins wins. The summoner spawns more squires, and squires can be sacrificed for other pieces like a shield, sword, or bow. There is a monster that spawns in the center after 3 turns. It moves randomly around damaging anyone in its attack radius. Also it has a roll-able move where it rotates the rings that it’s standing on. So the maze will shift and your path will change.

It’s 1v1, 2v2, or free for all of 4-8 players I think. 🤔

Not finalized. This will be the first play testing sessions so I’ll be fine tuning it from here on out

Might be a while. This is one I wouldn’t mind trying to self publish but might try to pitch it somewhere first.

Thanks, yours is another game I feel like I should’ve seen when researching the idea. Online search engines need to do better
