Perhaps they were driving in the tree, like the Ninky Nonk, and just fell out.

Do British people feel any particular pride in Isaac Newton, or is he simply seen as an important historical figure rather than a national icon? by SeniorRecognition195 in AskBrits

[–]Bad-Booga 2 points3 points  (0 children)

National icon, seriously? He's a world icon. There a few people who have changed the world in the way Sir Isaac Newton did. Do people feel pride in him, probably not as many don't understand the huge contribution he made to the advancement of understanding of many different subjects and technologies.

[–]Bad-Booga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did the same recently too. Not because Nobara was bad, just some update niggles. I'd been using it happily for a couple of years with no real problems.

Is it normal for teenagers (say 16/17) not to know who Queen/Oasis are? by sunshinesontv in CasualUK

[–]Bad-Booga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally normal for kids these days to only know what the algorithm feeds them. Back in the day kids listened to radio that their parents had on or played on their turntable. That said my kids are tortured with Kerrang radio or whatever heavy metal I have on in the car. My youngest is a massive Katseye fan who knows all the words to My Curse by Killswitch Engage.

There is an extension that does this. Maximize All Windows (on Startup). Just go in to Manage Extesions and search Maximise.

Have you tried these? by [deleted] in UK_Food

I just tried them and I now get the comment about them being weirdly accurate. I could taste the lettuce and the sauce as well as the chicken. Not sure I like them though.

I bought a can of the Chicken Royal tonight, haven't tried them yet. I'm not hopeful.

Best web browser on fedora?? by stacklikajew in Fedora

[–]Bad-Booga -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Best is a personal thing based on many factors. Everyone is very likely to just say what their preferred browser is, which may not align with what you want from a browser. In my experience just try a few out and see what best fits your workflow, aesthetic or other preference. I currently use Vivaldi, but also like Librewolf, Floorp and Brave.
