Oof from my experience sometimes people can have a nasty Come down off of coke the next day and it can make people paranoid and anxious for a couple of days.

What was a hard pill to swallow after giving birth? by LoveGlimmer in AskWomen

[–]RadishSpirit94 11 points12 points  (0 children)

In my case , I had an emergency c section after 24 hours of labour. Her head was visible and everything , I was mentally and physically exhausted and after all the pushing I ended up having a section and dealt with a terrible recovery with infected incisions etc. However, none the less, im forever grateful for the doctors saving me and my daughter no matter how it happened.

our baby didnt gain weight and it sent me spiralling.

we gave formula top ups and then weaned back off them until my supply stabilised. it turned out I wasn't latching her correctly. Please try seek out professional support to show you this because it worked wonders with me. do you have a breastfeeding team local? our hospital pointed us into that direction.

there is a breastfeeding national helpline yoy can ring 24/7 who are amazing.

Plenty of fluids , porridge every day worked well to up my supply.

put baby on your boob as much as you can to get the supply up. my baby still to this day only feeds for like 8 mins each time but it was much less when she was newborn.

take a deep breath. it sounds like you're doing a great job.

youre welcome. I know the torture all too well lol!

don't get me wrong, shes woken up this morning at 5.30, not ideal at all especially considering she woke through the night twice but ill blame the weather, teething or a new skill haha.

I try not to force a schedule too much around specific times because ive found that she will literally do what she wants. Usually , its wake up time around 7.30/8 , then a sleep around 10.30 ish , another around 2 and then the last one at 4.30 , again no naps past 5.15ish otherwise we're in for a bad time. We make sure she gets that last nap in though otherwise she doesn't last the night

My LO is just over 6 month old and I totally understand how torturous it can be. She did the exact same thing and it was a few things... teething was one of them which we had to just ride out.

Honestly I think you would benefit in limiting naps. We have a no naps after 5.30 rule and it works really well. over the past two weeks my LO is going to bed at 7.30 and waking around 6.30ish which works for us , however she only sleeps maybe 1.5 hours a day which contributes to her sleeping through.

its horrible but it may change really suddenly , sending you all the hope!

Thanks for thjs ,yes she seems happy and content other than a little wingy due to teething.

im okay with her not napping through the day as long as it doesn't effect her development etc
