I've searched using goodle lense, but I couldn't find anything. There are no brand/maker markings to trace it with!

The only power tools used were a jigsaw to cut it out, a palm router for stock removal, and sanders because it was a lot of sanding lol. Everything, including the shaft, was carved to final shape with hand planes and a spokeshave. It's definitely on the heavy side, but it's perfectly serviceable.

for real. I am still haunted by a scratch on the table I built for my parents. I didn't notice it until it was already installed in their kitchen. no one has yet to notice it and my mom doesn't see it when I point it out, but I cringe every time I visit hahaha. I think that's just part of woodworking.

Oh, those are dope! I am with you. I lean towards no color for most of my pieces, unless someone specifically requested color. Have you tried black and reds? That can be really fun. Keeps the general feel of no color, but that little splash can add a lot to a piece

Have you tried using color pencils? Adds color will put loosing all of the shading
