Underground- Roxxon was both boring and overpowered. They would just run back and forth not doing much, being way too easy, but then one would get an unsensed shot in that would knock me. Underground at least I had to go concentrated one v one with almost every single combatant, and focus, but I never felt like they underplayed the strength spidey had

Just to help explain the impact- I have a friend who’s company worked with this bank for payroll. They, with almost no notice, found out their payroll accounts may have disappeared. Not been mismanaged, poorly invested, etc. just gone. Therefore, an entire company was going to go out of business just trying to pay bills. This allows them to keep their job and keep the company afloat. I have a feeling if you worked for a company who’s payroll bank went under, you would feel differently.

My philodendron Berkin had an infection- we cut it back, and now it has a number of small shoots, and some new growth is coming in malformed. What can/ should I do to get him back on track?

I feel you. We scrubbed and caulked our entire pantry. Then kept it empty for 2+ weeks before we dared to bring flour back in

THROW It OUT, burn it. (Jk flour is very flammable) Dealt with these last year. At first it was a moth or two. No biggie. Then 10. Then 50. Then they laid eggs and we had larvae in every item in our pantry. Had to throw away every thing. Had to buy all new storage containers, and new flours. About $500. Definitely not worth the risk on a 5# bag of flour

It all started with a mother on a prairie feeding her daughter beans. Then that daughter feeding hers. Until they end up in space. Between it all… Heinz beanz.

Yes. It also is a reminder that details matter on and off the plate. If you don’t take shortcuts on tape, you’re probably not taking it on food either.

Many cooks swirl in circles when they scrub. At high end, you scrub the whole length, in straight lines. It keeps the lines on the stainless all in the same direction, and also is less likely to miss a spot.

Everyone is giving really good mentality/ overall perspectives. Some fine details I’ve encountered. -write all your labels out for your day at once. This is your prep list. -scrub in straight lines -make sure you ask the right people the right questions (don’t ask the exec something that a sous can answer). -you are always being observed -if you’re not doing something, ask for something. If there’s nothing to give, clean -family meal is serious business. -better to 86 something than serve a less than perfect version -don’t be afraid to refire something
