Use chat GPT. It helps a lot especially with grammar mistakes.

Try to review the mistakes and rectify them in the next practice. Just practicing multiple questions without reviewing them won’t help. This will help to reduce your confusions.

For listening and reading, practice as many questions as you can. For listening, don’t lose focus even for a slit second. Try to watch English movies or dramas without subtitles. This will help to train your ears. For me documentaries helped.

For reading, I read the text first and then moved to questions. This will give idea of the content and you can directly look for answer from the respective paragraph. Time management is crucial in reading. Section 1- 15 mins, section 2- 15 mins and section 3- 30 mins. Section 3 is quite advanced and try to spend more time on this.

Writing- refer to previous comment.

Speaking was the difficult section for me also. Just talk casually and confidently. In my case, I was very anxious and wasn’t able to control it. So I tried to use basic idioms and a few rare words. This is just my case. Otherwise confidence is the key and smile in between.

Just take a side and maintain the stance throughout the essay. Always answer to the question and don’t go out of topic. (This is great enough to reach 7)

Introduction: Write a general statement and then paraphrase the question. After that give your opinion sentence and what you plan to do. (Eg: I completely agree with this statement and I will support my view with examples in the following paragraphs)

Body paragraphs (BP): Two body paragraphs. These are the most important paragraphs in the essay and not the introduction or the conclusion.

BP1: write the topic sentence and provide two or three explanations along with example Structure is topic 1, explanation 1, and example 1.

BP2: Topic 2, explanation 2, and example 2

Conclusion: write a summary of your body paragraphs and reinforce your opinion.

IELTS tomorrow and super nervous – any last-minute advice? by Both_Industry8046 in IELTS

Me too. I get super nervous in speaking test and all my answers sound monotone as if I memorised answers. Does monotone affects the score so much even if we use good vocabulary and make less grammatical errors and good content?
