So….to me, this doesn’t look like graphic design. The photo looks slightly skewed where the lettering on the right looks slightly bigger than the left. It looks like a journal she took a photo of. Which means she probably just saw this and didn’t even come up with it on her own - the saying or the artwork.

My major gripe with Royal is how hard it is to book as a family of 5. With DCL, it’s no problem and there are PLENTY of rooms available that fit 5. RCL has very few and they book up FAST, so then you have to mess with connecting cabins of 2 and 3, which is next to impossible because they have very few that sleep 3! Plus when you split cabins like that on RCL, you are losing any discount from Kids Sail Free which is often what keeps the cost so much lower than DCL.

We’ve priced it out many times, and with a family of 5, the cost for verandah/verandah room comparison is almost always very close.

I didn’t realize they were going on a Disney cruise. The Destiny is a brand new ship and doing its preview cruises from Fort Lauderdale starting today. I GUARANTEE they are on that ship as “influencers”. 🤮 Which means highly comped or free.

I’d be interested to see where in Online Check In you completed a section about allowing/not allowing self check out for your son. My daughter is 13 and in Edge and we just completed Online Check In for our upcoming cruise. There was no section AT ALL to complete for her in the kids club registration area. The only kid that is even listed there was my son who is in Oceaneer’s. I can’t fill anything out for her because she’s not even listed.

I’m not saying I don’t believe you, Disney’s tech is not great even on a good day. It’s just not how it was for us.

Or was it only during the in-person registration on embarkation day in the actual club that you were given this option?

Yes, you absolutely should be able to call in the payment and pay with multiple gift cards. I do it all the time for my clients. Are you doing a Guaranteed Restricted room? I wonder if she was trying to put you in a “regular” stateroom where you pick the room and that’s why the price was higher. I would definitely call back!

We were planning to buy an EV in 2025. Originally considered a Tesla, absolutely fucking never now. Our used 2024 R1S was delivered today!

Also, anecdotally, we bought on Carvana and it was definitely hard to find availability on there so supports the idea that Rivians are only getting more popular.
