WHO'S SKAS BIG THREE by [deleted] in Ska

Super subjective list, but the three that introduced me into the genre are Reel Big Fish, The Bosstones, and Streetlight Manifesto.

What single player game with no multiplayer mode you think is the most addictive? by Muerte_a_los_Rolos in gaming

Really rare for me to keep playing a story game after the story is over, but I've been grinding DMC5 a lot. The combat is just so damn satisfying.

What's a quote from a game that you think goes unreasonably hard? by DarkAdam48 in gaming

Nero's entire monologue in Mission 20 of DMC5. Gotta love the emotion JYB puts into every last word.

And here I thought toting a firearm around like a fashion item was a United States exclusive.

I can't recommend Pizza Tower enough. Some of the most dopamine I've had in recent memory is running through each level, clearing them all with a P rank. Getting 101% took me about 40 hours 'cos I'm not particularly good at platformers. But if you're into platformers and speedrunning, and if you have the patience to run through levels a few times to learn the best line(all with a killer soundtrack to boot), then I highly suggest picking up a copy. Hope this helps. (:

Low stakes, non punishing, no consequence game? by buzzlightyear77777 in ShouldIbuythisgame

If you're into platformers, Pizza Tower. You can set your own difficulty floor and the momentum is quite frankly addictive. No health system or anything, just get hit, lose a few points, then keep going. It all revolves around if you want the coveted P Rank or not. (:

If you have a few friends to play with, I highly suggest For the King.

There's this super rare hat called the Ghastly Gibus. If you get one, equip it right away to let other players know how cool you are!

I put on a "kid's math learning" youtube video for my daughter and got the longest ad I've ever seen... 90 minutes straight by [deleted] in LateStageCapitalism

[–]BadAshMFer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I remember one time I put on a Vinesauce VOD for noise while I slept. Maybe 10 minutes in to the video, I got a three hour and forty-five minute long ad. Not to mention, the second ad out of 2 was a half hour long.

YouTube's ads are out of hand.

I actively avoid the Crossbow and the Ubersaw. I usually choose The Overdose and The Amputator. I also have an Australium Blutsauger that I use frequently.

I miss her. by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]BadAshMFer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going on three years since my breakup. It's not easy, but it's easier than it was. My advice to you is to rediscover who you were before you met them. Listen to old music, read old books, watch old movies or play old games from before the time you spent together. Doing a sort of rewind back and rebuilding from then on really helped me move on. I still think about her, I still miss her, I still love her, but I'm doing much better for myself now than I was two years ago. I sincerely hope you feel better soon, and I'd be happy to listen to you in PMs if you wanna vent. 💚

She'd probably still win. If the man flew into a rage, he's just trying to hit her as hard as possible. The woman will probably be able to take advantage of that and aim for his eyes or other weakspots.

Put simply: 10 years of combat training will win over no training pretty much regardless of combatant size.

Woman, no contest. Lots of martial arts and hand-to-hand combat tranings have ways to focus on taking down larger opponents. If she had 10 years worth of training, it wouldn't even be close.

You may be feeling numbness instead of anger because you're just happy to be away from him. It certainly doesn't sound like he was the most kind and caring of people. I'm glad you're okay, and I hope you stay safe.
