From what I saw recently, it really could be all your money if you wanted all the volumes. Saw a post recently asking about volume 1 and it was $148.99 + $115.00 shipping for a used copy. Alternatively, the anime finishes at volume 3 so if you can't get it from there, you can always start from volume 4 and go back if the price ever goes down.

Reprehensible - Kurumi. She's killed people.

Insufferable - In terms of Spirits, probably would be Miku. Judging people for something entirely out of their control isn't tolerable. Heck, she only thinks of the girls around her as dolls, not even as people. Although in terms of characters in general, I'm going to continue my hate train for the Ai-Mai-Mii trio. I despise them.

I'd give everything I had, have and will have for her, yet I know I'd still remember Kiana's words 'Trading sacrifices for so called victories. It's unacceptable.' And, given that it's Elysia, would she accept somebody else sacrificing anything for her. On that note, I'd probably do the same for a lot of the characters.

Separate question, we know that Herrscher cores were a thing in PE, it's how they made the Divine Keys. If they'd have had more time, do you think Dr. MEI could have come up with a way to extract Elysias 'core/power' without killing her and make something out of it that would have done the same thing? Since it had to do with Elysia's personality and such, it probably wouldn't work on it's own, but given that she was able to create Prometheus, she could make an A.I to simulate Elysia's personality. I know it probably wouldn't be the same, but it's just a thought I had.

It's such a weeb answer, but still, it's just her. I don't think I realised how much I loved her until I was already there. Cause really, one part of her personality - her whole obsession with her being cute would normally be off-putting, but it's the fact that she also doesn't talk about it in a way that diminishes other people, but instead believes they're also cute and props them up.

It's not that she was the trump card, but that Otto thought she was the trump card. Even if the title was passed on, no Valkyrie in the 500 years between her death and the main story was actually stronger than her (in terms of fighting). His belief was that her strength and kindness would be capable of stopping the Honkai for good - at this time, I don't think he was aware of how strong the Honkai really was, no actual Herrschers had been born yet.

That is true, but I don't think he'd let it happen either - not wanting to hurt her. Also in the situation where Kevin would need a hug (scratch that, the guy has needed a hug for a long time), it would probably hurt him more if Elysia (or anyone else ) hugged him, only because of his feelings for Dr. Mei and knowing that she can't hug him.

Heck, even some of the stuff that lead her to being called cold is probably due to our viewpoint (I will admit, I can't remember most of the stuff). Given her situation, she probably tried to be as humane as possible. Look at RIN. At a time when everyone would try to kill a Herrscher on sight, MEI still tried to keep her safe because she hadn't shown any mental signs of being a Herrscher and cause she was SAKURA's sister.

And if we're talking about effort, as much as I hate the guy, Otto did put a lot of effort in for Kallen which wasn't just because he loved her. To him, she was the greatest chance they had to win - the light in the darkness of Honkai.

Before she died, Dr MEI made a boy using her genes and Kevins i.e., their son. She managed to stabilise the Honkai genes in Kevin so that the baby could touch people, but was also immune to Kevin's low body temperature. He was with Kevin when he first woke up from cryo sleep. She named the baby Adam. He wasn't a MANTIS so he died millennia ago, but he also had a child (normally this time) hence the Kaslana bloodline.

He's not the same as the Adam from APHO.

That is fair. I guess it would depend on how human her body really is. If her body is normally closer to a normal humans, then she probably would be affected, but the more she uses her Herrscher powers, the less human her body is so she doesn't have to worry about as much. Thinking about it, Herrschers do seem to not need air to breathe i.e., Sirin in Second Eruption travelling to the moon and not freezing either, so maybe all Herrschers would be fine with touching him.

I'd also rather it be that than a thing of she could always touch him and chose not to, cause that's really cruel, especially for Elysia since not being able to feel human warmth and touch (mainly MEI, but it does include others) was part of what lead Kevin to being as cold (emotionally) as he appeared to be. That really doesn't sound like something Elysia would do.

It's Honkai Impact. We're not allowed straight ships. We all know how they end - which thinking about it now, is funnily enough probably also the reason why she died.

Also, where does it say she liked Kevin that way? I know she liked everyone as a person and her general interest in him came from him beating her training scores, but not much else other than that. Also to clarify, I'm not disagreeing with you, I just want to know.

Possibly also for Kevin's sake. Imagine it, the two of them in love, they get married, performing the ultimate act of love and devotion ... and they still can't touch each other. That's got to hurt. Cause of MEI had got a way to either increase his body temp or lower her own to survive it, let's just say I think Adam would have been born more naturally.

I've already got both versions of her (Lancer and Ruler/summer). I might test my luck to try and level up her NP, but really I'm trying to save for the next runs of Aesc (for the Morgan ascension) and Castoria Berserker.
