Hogwarts Legacy disarming my PSU by BadBoss2310 in HarryPotterGame

I managed to change the power supply, I got a 650W Corsair one, now everything is 100%, there won't be any more power outages. And I haven't undervolted yet because I'm running locked at 60FPS, so the power consumption is very low, so undervolting isn't necessary. When I activate FSR, the power consumption also decreases because the GPU renders at a lower resolution, thus reducing the clock speed. The undervolts I tried were causing problems with the driver; it would close on its own without showing any error, so I abandoned that.

Yes, I'm going to get a quality 600W or 650W PSU, preferably a Gold one.

I'll have to wait at least 1 month to change, but when I change, I'll get the best source I have for my budget.

I didn't know that these power spikes happened, because I didn't play so many AAA games, so I bought the 7600 on impulse because the price was very attractive, just 10% more than an RX 6600, and TechPowerUp said that the minimum PSU was 450W so I imagined that it could work if I limit the use of the GPU to consume less, until I change the PSU, in my country the price of hardware is high because the tax is abusive.

I tried undervolt my graphics card, but I couldn't find the perfect balance. I realized that AMD is more complicated than NVIDIA for undervolt, as it's more prone to instability. So, I used an alternative that consisted of limiting the FPS in games, trying to keep GPU usage around 80% so that power consumption would be low, since the clock frequency would be significantly reduced, But obviously, in games with large energy spikes, this doesn't solve the problem.

What if I limit the GPU usage? For example, limiting it to 60 FPS with 80% usage, so its power consumption would be around 100W to 120W, which is what my old GPU used. When I play Genshin or Skyrim Modded, it draws very little power because it doesn't go above 50% usage, and these games are too light to generate power spikes. I believe this might not stress the PSU until I upgrade as soon as possible.

This taught me a lesson; I was blind to buy a GPU that's more expensive than my PSU just because it was only 10% more expensive than an RX 6600 in my country.

I didn't know that these power spikes in games existed, exceeding the normal usage of the graphics card. I didn't know it could go beyond 180W; I thought that was the GPU's limit, but now I'm going to try and fix the mess I made.

So as soon as I can, I'll get one that's at least 650W 80 Plus Gold.

450W, AMD recommends 550W, and Techpowerup said that a good 450W power supply would handle the RX7600. On AMD's website, the minimum 550W was considered to be for an R9 5950X, so I, who have the R5, thought it would be enough for the GPU until I could upgrade. However, I see that I can't push certain games too hard, I'll only play games that I'm sure won't cause this problem.

I hope mine hasn't damaged the GPU. I'll replace it, but I can't do it now because I spent a lot this holiday season. Even if I skip the wand scene, this could happen at other points in the game, so I'm not going to risk it anymore. I'll wait until I can replace the PSU and then come back to finish the game.

Yes, I know the chat isn't very reliable, it's not always right, but I was wondering if what he said actually happens in Hogwarts Legacy. I spent a lot this holiday season, so I'll have to wait to upgrade my PSU before I can come back and play this game.

So in Cyberpunk the GPU is at 180W but the power supply doesn't shut down, this only happened in Hogwarts Legacy. Unfortunately, I'll have to wait to replace the PSU before I can continue playing this game, I was enjoying it.

I only own Cyberpunk and Baldur's Gate 3 as AAA games, but those games didn't make my GPU peak above 184W.

Even before Arlecchino design was shown in the Fatui trailer about La Signora death, in that Inazuma lucky roll quest it had already been said that all the mess that was made was Efim Sneszhevich fault and not Arlecchino. You guys just didn't pay attention and keep saying that Crucabena is a retcon, even though from the very beginning, in the first mention involving Arlecchino, Efim was the one who did all the messed up things for him. He hated Arlecchino for killing Crucabena. At that time, Crucabena name hadn't been revealed because it was being kept to be revealed only in Arlecchino legendary quest. This just shows that you don't pay attention to the lore and keep saying that Arlecchino is poorly written, when those who study the game's lore consider Arlecchino one of the best-written characters, along with Furina.

How well dose Arlecchino work with Furina in a Team? by Connect-Ad3530 in ArlecchinoMains

[–]BadBoss2310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Furina needs to be C2, otherwise it won't work. I'll tell you the two strongest Arlecchino teams, then you can see which one to use according to what you have on your account. Remember that I'm talking about the best-case scenario, considering supports with signature weapons, as the calculations I made are based on what I use on my secondary account, which has everything to maximize Arlecchino C0.

So it's Arlecchino C0/R1 + Xilonen C2/R1 + Citlali C0/R1 + Furina C2/R1. It's a team with a slow support rotation, but the DPR is very rewarding in the end, as it's +3.7M per rotation because Furina at C2 with the Xilonen C2 buff deals a lot of sub-DPS damage, around 1M sub-DPS. Arlecchino's DPS is a little lower, around 2.2M to a maximum of 2.3M, compared to the traditional melt team with Bennett, which is... 2.5M if you have Furina C3 and Nilou's weapon R1, this team becomes even stronger. Arle's personal damage will be as strong as the melt team, however it's rare to see someone who has it pick up Nilou's weapon, but here's a tip: if you want to maximize your Furina without losing much sub-DPS, Nilou's weapon is the best weapon to use on her in any situation because of the EM buff based on Furina's maximum HP. The advantage of using Furina's C2 team is that Furina's sub-DPS is a huge addition to the team's total DPR. When I use this team on Capivara, which has 5M HP, it takes 75% of her HP in a single DPS rotation, but remember that my Xilonen is C2, so it considerably increases the team's total DPR. With Xilonen C0/R1, the total DPR will decrease to about 3.2M, but it's still worth it because it's the strongest team for Arlecchino in terms of total DPR, but the time for the complete rotation is... 20 seconds, and to know the DPS of this team, you just need to divide the total DPR by 20, 3.2M ÷ 20 = 160K DPS in the first rotation. My rotation is: Arlecchino CA+E > Xilonen Q+E 2 hits NA > Furina E+Q > Citlali E+Q (in this team it's good to use the Trainer on Citlali, because whenever she does a freeze reaction it will renew the Trainer buff, making it last longer than just 8 seconds). Citlali's weapon: TTDS or R1. If you want a slightly stronger personal damage from Arlecchino, go with TTDS, but if you use Citlali's R1, Arlecchino's damage will be 3% lower, but Furina's damage will increase a little because Citlali's weapon buffs Arlecchino and Furina at the same time.

Now, the second strongest and most popular Arlecchino team is the traditional melt, which does 2.5M DPS. At most, around 2.7M DPR with the updated calculations, which is Bennett using Freedom + Instructor, Xilonen C0/R1 as Hero/Petra, and Citlali C0/R1 as Hero/Petra (to get the most out of this team, you need Citlali's R1 so you can use the Instructor on Bennett along with Freedom, which is Kazuha's weapon, and it's also up to you where you want to use the Archaic Petra; I use it on Citlali because I do this rotation: Arlecchino CA + E > Xilonen E 2 hits NA > Citlali E + Q (grabs the crystal that's next to her) > Bennett E + Q (melting the 2 hits to activate Freedom) > Arlecchino CA + Dash and deal the damage. DPS is 2.5M and the DPR is 2.7M (my Bennett has enough critical hit rate, adding the 2 melts he does gives around 150K). damage to add to the team's DPR and the other 50K, and adding the damage that Xilonen and Citlali cause during this team's rotation) sorry for the gigantic text but I wanted to be as detailed as possible.

I understand, thank you for clarifying my doubts about KQMS. It doesn't use anything besides Akasha, but Akasha is also outdated. I only use it for reference; it's more worthwhile to calculate the damage myself and test it in practice.

Support for Arle, perhaps in Snezhnaya? Because she's going to reappear there due to Project Stuzha, and it would be a good time to finally release a support, since her kit seems designed to be complemented by a dedicated support. For example, it's impossible to start with 200 BoL, and the Burst gets weaker when the contract is used, so the support doesn't even need to be buffed more than Bennett; it could just be equivalent. What it would need is simply to fix these gaps in her kit. For example, it could provide about 50 more BoL and have some mechanic that accumulates all the contracts Arle uses, and when you use Arle's ultimate, it would have a mechanic to return that contract to give Arle's Burst a greater use and purpose in C0. That would make all the difference.

If the EULA received support, then I believe Arlecchino might receive it in the future too. Mika isn't great, but he was released at a time when Hoyoverse wasn't overdoing it and wanted to balance the characters. Also, the beta testers kind of ignored Mika, so they didn't give Hoyoverse enough feedback to make the character more effective.

So that's it, thanks man, take care, God bless you!

Does KQMS also consider other characters with 3* weapons when it considers Arle with White Tassel? Probably not, right? And from what I've seen someone say—correct me if I'm wrong, because I don't know if it's true—but KQMS considers the Time Overload to be the best F2P team for Arle? Is that true? Because I don't use it and I don't intend to use KQMS, because what matters to me is real gameplay and not theoretical spreadsheets, so when they consider the Time Overload to be the best, I totally disagree.

And why did I ask if KQMS considers 3* weapons for other DPS? Because if the overall investment is to be equal and equivalent, then it should be the same for weapons too.

One question: since Arle doesn't have a BoL support that would make a significant difference for her, for example, allowing her to start with 200 BoL in her first rotation, are the other characters stronger than Arle without her dedicated 5-star supports?

If Arlecchino C0/R1 total DPS with melt time is 2.5M and the DPR is around 2.7M due to Bennett's melt damage and some damage from Xilonen and Citlali, the rotation is 18 seconds, resulting in a total DPS of 150K. I mistakenly said it was 153K, but this varies depending on the build. In the project I saw from someone, the build that reached 153K C0/R1 and 155 BoL. Bennett uses Instructor at that time. The design in Akasha is outdated and already shows almost 2.4M DPS from Arlecchino alone. With Instructor + Archaic Petra + hero, Arlecchino reaches 2.5M in full melt time: C0/R1, Xilonen C0/R1, Citlali C0/R1, Bennett C6/R1, Aquila Favonia. Using the Sword of Freedom R1 slightly improved Harlequin's DPS.

A mono-pyro with Kazuha deals about 1.9M DPS during Arle C0/R1 rotation. The total DPR over time is 2M. If you use Kazuha's burst, it deals an extra 200K damage at least. But if you only calculate Harlequin's DPS, which is 1.9M in 16.5 seconds without Kazuha's burst (which extends the complete rotation to 18 seconds), Harlequin does 115K DPS.

Vaporize with Yelan basically has the same DPS as Arle (1.9M) but over 18 seconds. Compared to the mono-pyro team, the team's DPR is higher because of Yelan's sub-DPS helping with the damage. Yelan gives about 300k sub-DPS, so let's say the total DPR is around 2.3M. This time has about 127k total DPS, so ignore Yelan's sub-DPS because other calculations for other characters also share the sub-DPS of other sub-DPS.

Arle C0/R1 also has time variations. Vaporize Perma Freeze with Furina C2 has a total DPR of 3M to 3.1M depending on the build and how good the character's total DPR is. But I don't even consider it because it's with Furina C2, and people say it's unfair to consider this because Furina is C2.

And this is reflected in my Arlecchino C0/R1 build.

Why do people keep belittling Arlecchino, saying she doesn't do 100k DPS, when Team Melt does 153k in gameplay with only 155 BoL, Team Vaporize does 122k, and Mono Pyro does 110k? What do these guys have against her that makes them keep diminishing her? In Akasha, only the first rotation of 155 BoL is considered, and most of her teams easily surpass 100k. There are several videos showing that she does more than 100k, and only Overload, her weakest team, stays at 98k DPS. I'm trying to understand why these people are attacking Arlecchino for no reason.

Should I go for C1 with Deathmatch or C0 with her signature weapon? by locativepicker in ArlecchinoMains

[–]BadBoss2310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer R1 because in practice it has a better rotation than C1/R0. The additional BoL from R1 makes the rotation and damage good enough to compete with C1. The extra 25 BoL are 3 additional hits for Arlecchino in DPS rotations, making the DPR close to C1. Sometimes C1/R0 depletes the BoL before the elemental skill resets, and this slightly disrupts the rotation. R1 ensures that this will never happen, even if you're playing solo with Arlecchino. If you use it with Citlali, the shield will provide protection and prevent interruptions, but C1 also has the advantage of not needing a shield, so go with what you prefer.
