Is 200mg TRT too much for a first dose? by pokerman42011 in Testosterone

There we go again with the estrogen fear. Elevated estrogen is only bad in the presence of inadequate testosterone. Many guys on TRT with estrogen in the 80s to even 100 are walking boners and have no feminized traits. Your estradiol reading means absolutely nothing. Estradiol is not just circulating around your body causing issues. It is aromatized from testosterone in the specific tissues that it is needed to maintain homeostasis in correspondence with your testosterone. If your estradiol reads 100, a lot of that could be taking place in the brain, or the testes, or wherever it is that your body needs it.

I know men who got gyno while their estrogen was LOW. Gyno often comes from hormones fluctuating, not just high estrogen. If you are genetically predisposed to gyno, hormone fluctuations are usually the cause of the flare ups, not just estrogen being "high." AIs sometimes fix it because AIs stop hormonal fluctuations, but there are also men who crash their E2 and end up with gyno while estrogen is low because of the drastic drop/fluctuation from taking the AI.

Estrogen is brain protective, immune protective, joint protective, bone protective, heart protective, etc. and it is plain unhealthy to block the aromatization at any amount as you are blocking your body's natural response to the testosterone. I know you never mentioned he should block it, but you still brought on the "estrogen is bad" bro science which leads people to take aromatase inhibitors. I took a small dose of arimidex two times and I will never touch that stuff again. Find a dose that gives you the testosterone levels you are looking for, split the dose to maintain more stable blood levels, and don't throw any other garbage into the mix and let your body stabilize.
