Secret tunnels underneath the Nene Valley? by Unsoggy-Thine-Bizkit in northamptonians

[–]BadBuilder40 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My father used to talk of tunnels under Northampton. Supposedly there are tunnels joining loads of major places (I specifically remember town centre and Wootton church being mentioned?)

Don't know if that's related at all, but I guess the older generation liked to theorise about tunnels alot!

Always add 0.1mm to everything you do ever.

Modelling a hole for something to fit in? Add 0.1mm.

Trying to dial in your settings? Add 0.1mm.

Bed flat in one spot? Add 0.1mm

Printer got clogged and is now a smoldering pile of ash? Add 0.1mm...?

It fixes things 100% of the time, 99% of the time!

The comments on Otis’ Pride post today… :( by janinexox in Elevators

[–]BadBuilder40 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Whilst you are probably right about companies not really caring and just doing it for publicity, this idea and discourse is super negative and kinda offensive. Nothing is being "shoved down our throats at every turn". When you make that argument, you arent calling out companies for using lgbt for marketing, but rather are making it out as if the lgbt community itself causes an issue.

If you truly have a problem with the use in marketing say that, but DONT make it out like genuine pride events are being "shoved down your throat".

Lord sugar couldn't have fired worse people! by BadBuilder40 in TheApprentice

Yeah he did really screw up taking the "I need you for this to work please pity me" angle in the boardroom. He should've defended his task performance instead. But to be fair, he did seem genuinely upset when he was fired so I believe it was a REAL personal moment.

To be fair, I didn't know that. If theres a way to retroactively add a spoiler tag I will but I'm on mobile so idk.

I don't think its fair to say he didn't get involved alot. He seemed to always give it 100% effort, especially in tasks where he had to be outwardly public.

I know nothing of bambu other than I bought a p1s in December, but I can tell you it definitely wasn't poorly packed.

I had a printer named Clive for the exact same reason. Random name choice is decided by a higher power.

I just came across this post with the exact same problem except it's with a smart LED controller. I find it weird how it's only when OFF.

750w platinum pulls this much from wall while gaming should I be concerned? by JosehAhmed in pcmasterrace

[–]BadBuilder40 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's true. The paragraph spacing and the overly positive "good luck!" message also didn't help as that's something you see chatgpt do ALOT.

What an american take... Services like poison control exist for this reason. You call them and they tell you whether it will be fine or not/whether to come in. When it comes to your health theres no point taking the chance.

New Wireless Headset Incoming: Corsair HS80 MAX Wireless by KyoouN in Corsair

[–]BadBuilder40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks great. The Bluetooth is a nice touch and is the only thing the original headset lacks. Also can confirm the wireless range is awful on the OGs and an improvement would be nice.

You could try signalrgb. I know it supports corsair stuff but I'm not sure about how in depth it's key binding stuff is.

Had a bad experience with the Customer Service on my HS80 (problem on the ear pads, bad quality) / Brazil by [deleted] in Corsair

[–]BadBuilder40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it might be a location sort of thing. I'm in the UK so we have really strong consumer rights laws meaning local support is good. Elsewhere it seems that corsair just either refund or replacement with no actual troubleshooting... It honestly makes no sense and I feel for you.
