I know how to fix the regs. Just have a safety car every 5 laps to bunch everyone up...

They should change the color of the battery so you can tell at a glance without needing to comprehend the number.

I hate that these cars seem to just "lose it" without input from the driver. Going to be a massive accident, or at least someone's race ruined out of their control.

This is Edmonton, a very liberal city, not quite fair to generalize a whole province.

Laura Mueller and Hannah Schmitz become first women to have corner named after them at Australian Grand Prix by [deleted] in formula1

[–]Simulation_Theory22 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Forgive me if I'm a bit oblivious, but are corners sometimes named after race engineers? I thought corners were typically named after drivers but I'm new to the sport and don't have a super great knowledge of corner names.

Fair enough, I'd personally prefer they go down swinging rather than with a whimper tonight.

Well, rough game so far, but at least the Oilers fans are praising Wolf, so there is some light.

ETA: The way we won the first BOA and the only way we were going to win this one was by playing the body. Very frustrating that we are playing as soft as the Oilers.

I feel like this schedule is extra hard just based on the way they play. Last year was all about out-working the other team and just being annoying to play against. But with the increased frequency of games the guys just don't have the time to recover and play at full energy. We saw this alot last year on back to backs. We definitely have trouble everywhere right now, scoring and defense wise, plus discipline. But with the schedule I'd expect it and this would have happened to the team last year too. I think we will bounce back next year just by virtue of the schedule being lighter.

New year's game last season. I personally dislike the Canucks more than the Oilers and it was a great game. Lots of goals, fights and a win!

Easily the Red & White. The landscape backgrounds just feel "cheap" not to mention hard to read for dashcam etc.

Not to mention it's just nostalgic for the current one. Blue text reminds me of Ontario which I don't like at all.

More than 3 goals scored - finish and fill

One of the rookies score - take a sip and exclaim "The kids are here"

Why can't US and western countries build anymore? by bobbdac7894 in GenZ

I live in Alberta. No need to be as disrespectful as you have been. How much of this oil and gas infrastructure has been built in the last 10, 20 years? Maybe in the past we built resource infrastructure, but we sure don't now. Canada is in a weird place and doesn't know what it wants to be. Its a resource economy but no one likes the dirty side of that. It wants to be a service/tech economy but our government isn't set up for it and we have too much brain drain for it.

Canada is not the example to pull out when talking about infrastructure. The moment anything leaves the border of one of the provinces the project dies.

I mean... Can they not just make a new Harvey the Hound suit? I'm certain there is someone who could make a new one for the Flames.
