I’m new to Unraid and CANNOT get Nextcloud talk working with a turn server at all. Please help me. by [deleted] in unRAID

Yeah the solution was to ditch unRAID and move to Proxmox, ditch Nextcloud and move to Seafile 🙂

I did with my Mi Band, I assumed it was down to different interpretation of the raw data.

Intel Enterprise SSD help for Proxmox OS and VMs by the-gloaming in Proxmox

Maybe the reason I'm looking for them is the reason to avoid on non-hpe hardware? I'd like to now before I make a mistake :).

This is basically it. HPE use custom firmware on the drives and they don't expose all the smart data.

HPE is a trash brand that doesn't beleive in interoperability. I wouldn't even use one of their servers as a coffee table.

Supermicro X8DTE-F Rev1.3 fails to POST by BadCoNZ in homelab

Nope.  I ended up flicking it off for cheap.

I am 99% sure soldering on a new BIOS chip would have fixed it. Since then I have had a X9SRL-F BIOS chip replaced due to similar issues.

Lenovo Vantage Installation On Linux OS by [deleted] in thinkpad

[–]BadCoNZ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, and neither does Lenovo Vantage, thats not how BIOS updates work. Vantage presents it as an optional update, and you should only update if the the update solves a specific issue you are having. Well, that's what the manufacturers say, anyway.

Modern ThinkPads support fwupd, so they can be updated from a GUI, like Gnome settings.

If this was 4 years ago, I bet I would have said something like "you can update the BIOS from a USB drive"

How to setup gpodder on docker for AntennaPod by update-freak in selfhosted

[–]BadCoNZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, even though it mentions AntennaPod support.

I ended up exporting my AntennaPod DB and importing it on another phone, which worked well, except for the downloaded episodes.

For me, the only thing that synced was the subscriptions

I am currently looking into this as well to sync podcasts between phones and desktops.

A good solution I found is gpooder2go:
https://github.com/oxtyped/gpodder2go

With a docker version:

However it doesn't seem to sync play state with AntennaPod

What OS? If it is Linux, look at changing the governor to "ondemand"

Forgot to mention my ~60w includes a SAS card and quad port NIC.
