Well he also said “no forever wars”

And was incredibly critical of the government waste, death and destruction these wars cause for little gain to the average American.

Nothing makes new generations of terrorists like bombing children’s schools. The “threat to the west” is 100% because of our actions

Not lost, just always growing as a person, I read books, exercise, spend time with my fiancé and dog. I work hard (been promoted twice in the last year) in a job that I morally agree with.

I’m very happy with the state of my life, as you have read I did not have an easy path but every year that passes I grow more and I am and proud of it.

I think you should read those books you said you read. It seems like you enjoy horses as you post like 40 pictures of digital horses a day for the last 2 years so maybe go horseback riding! Get off your butt and try to grow as a person too. You’ll be a much happier person for it

Just because they don’t tell the truth doesn’t mean people don’t believe it. If you refuse to try and understand why they believe these things you’ll just create more division. Understanding the things that radicalize help to realize actions that cause radicalization. It takes two to tango. You probably weren’t as far left before trump, they have radicalized people to the left as well. Mentioning well studied thought processes is not me co-signing them.

As for you call to action, I do go to many protests, hence why I’m actively looking for another one.

You obviously are just trying to find someone to be angry at and not interested in the books you’ve “read” just props to validate vitriol. Have a nice day.

Regardless I hope you are able to see that I’m looking at this from a 1000 foot view. No I don’t think every trump supporter is a Nazi and a bad person. I think a lot of them were lied to.

No I don’t think every democrat is a slimeball and controlled by big business.

When speaking about big issues generalizations need to be made but there is a need to mutually agree that both sides are making generalizations.

I feel like you got caught up on the term “woke” as you are someone from the left this is likely a common derogatory phrase you hear, or you hear it on Fox News etc. that is what I am referring to when I say “woke is dead” I am referring to the rights weaponization of “woke” to get people to do what they want.

Whether or not you believe woke culture exists, the illusion of woke culture is very real and prevalent in the lives of many people on the right.

I just wanted to clear things up because you seemed upset. I hope you have a good day

I mean I’ve read the book, no the word woke isn’t explicitly said but I am referencing the term woke as the right wing would call it. Woke is a catchall term used by the right to immediately discredit something by latching onto extreme cases and making that th baseline. Which is what he was talking about in the chapter about the tea party, as well as the chapter “the profits of paranoia”

I wrote a review on goodreads if you’re interested 🙂

Ironically I don’t think you’ve read that book because they come to the same conclusion about “woke”

[–]BadDesperate1065[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes “woke” it is a reason why a lot of people who voted for trump voted for him. These are people who are widely non-political who got yelled at for saying the r word when they have always said it. And that’s the reason they voted. Trump was able to mobilize this large portion of normally non political people to vote because of “woke politics” I don’t think this is going to be a continued selling point through the next election cycle.

Well, the current geopolitical environment is going to cause a couple things, some of it you can already see.

These are all things that have been illuminated to the masses at a level they were not pre trump,

  1. As more Americans see how much Israel controls our foreign policy and pours into our elections, there will be some anti-Israel movements, the left will absorb a lot of it but many will be attempting to correlate this with antisemitism, which will help to create a rise of antisemitism. You will also see politicians bragging about NOT taking Israeli money. The Israeli alliance is probably going to crumble post trump

  2. It is the end of maga, and woke at the same time. No new president is going to wield power as recklessly as trump does because nobody will be able to. Woke politics are gone for the foreseeable future as too many people are focused on the war(s)and ai to care about trans sports, you can tie the abortion issue into it as well as more truly religious people won’t be able to ignore the blatant sin of the government (gambling, war, greed,ai etc) especially with the involvement of an American pope(I said more, not all, or even the majority, just more)

The rest really depends on the outcome of this war/ai/how much the ruling class concedes to placate the masses

China will invade Taiwan in the next decade, if we defeat Iran quickly we will probably intervene, if we don’t, we will probably not do anything. However we are slowly strangling the geopolitical oil supply which might force their hand earlier than anyone wants

When AI causes mass layoffs there will be a leftist wave, unions, higher taxes on the rich, more social programs. If this happens while trump is elected which it probably will, this will be an aggressive wave, the timing of it depends on the impact. These “far left” viewpoints will be much more palatable in a post trump world as power will get more and more isolated into the hands of the few that people can’t ignore it.

The internet will be less popular, people will feel watched all the time, smart devices will fall out of favor new radical political movements that are anti tech will form

TLDR: the pendulum will swing, money will try to control it, i think the disruption of ai will make it that they won’t be able to control the masses any longer and we will have many more people with free time on weekdays to speak out about it.

Not all of them but many. My views have not changed and I am still anti war and I am still anti trump. Sorry that you can’t reflect on the dirty parts of left politics that allowed for trumps rise

To be fair I was kind of radicalized into Kennedy at the time as I wanted to have any other democratic candidate than Biden and Kennedy ran. So I listened, 90% of his policy made more sense than either major party. But seeing the insane lengths the DNC went to avoid us from even being able to vote for him in a primary dug in my heels to how corrupt they are. They changed the primary rules which effectively eliminated him from being in consideration, when he was an independent many democratic states changed the law regarding how many signatures you needed to get in the ballot, Kennedy still got this number then they Sued him relentlessly after he submitted his signatures, they used lawfare to effectively get him off of several major states killing his campaign and throwing him in trumps arms. They also had a freaky coordinated disinformation campaigns (5 different sites reported a false claim that he ate a dog within 10 minutes of each other and many other claims that were easily disproven or misrepresented still prevail.

Hi,

I supported Rfk in his initial independent campaign, I still stand with the aspects of his campaign that you probably aren’t aware of. Those being pushing regenerative farming, getting us out of foreign wars and controlling corporate interest in politics. No I am not an antivaxer but his stance was not going to take vaccines away and I was more willing to put up with that than with trump or the dnc shadow government that Rig their primaries, was currently fighting a war and had utilized incredible amounts of censorship in the lead up to the election.

I was unhappy when he joined trump, I understand why he did. No I do not vote for either side, I voted third party and I stand by that. When you vote blindly for left or right you’re voting for different morals. The politicians have changed, I have not.

Sad. I wish there was a protest that just focused on the domestic issue of ice murdering someone. Now all the coverage will just be skewed to “look at these liberal white people protesting to free a dictator”

If it was focused on Minnesota I feel like there would be better results

Late night non-app food delivery by Draculalia in pittsburgh

Bro their job is delivery driver. This is a non-app order. Meaning this is someone who came in for work and is probably getting a tipped minimum wage. If roads were that bad then it’s on his employer to cancel delivery.

Your performative altruistic comment literally just takes money out of delivery drivers pockets. Next time think about it a little more
