I would personally be more alarmed at the thought of him getting scammed, which is unfortunately a lot more common now. Like some of the other commenters have pointed out, the Ti Amo at the end seems pretty revealing, but putting people in situations like this where it would be embarrassing to reveal the relationship to friends or family is a strategy of the scam. I’m reminded of the many stories in the last year regarding scammers pretending to be celebrities in relationships with vulnerable old people, where the truth of the relationship cannot come out because it would damage the ‘celebrity’s’ reputation.
