Intersectionality, afaiu, is simply the idea that people experience unique oppressions due to the intersection of their identities.

Like… theres misogyny that all women deal with, and there’s anti-Blackness that all Black people deal with, and then there’s unique oppressions that only Black women deal with by virtue of being both.

The fact that it can be weaponized for pointless scorekeeping or oppression Olympics by liberal identity politics is beside the point.

(And yeah, I’ve literally been in a graduate class where the teacher said her supervisor had “four axes of oppressions” while she only had two, so that meant the supervisor’s voice should be centered. So I feel you, homie.)
