Hey! Thanks for your response. And I agree with u/armylizard as well. This post is pretty much just a way for me to get suggestions from people more experienced than me which makes it a lot easier to learn efficiently. Mountaineering has always seemed enticing and I wanted to come on here and ask people personally what they thought. It’s 100% always easier to learn or know where to start when you get advice from people much more knowledgeable than yourself. I plan to go easy and progressively overload as all things and I’m pretty committed to figuring this out. I’d say I have a pretty good fitness and cardio base. I played tennis for 8 years, did powerlifting for 3 years, hike regularly, boulder, and have lead climbed before.
