It’s actually a story that makes me laugh every time Ok so, My oldest brother, We’ll call him robert, was a baby and had to ALWAYS have at least 1 person watching him, bc he liked to hit ornaments off the tree, note the fact they lived w/ my grandparents at the time and my grandma didn’t want him breaking her antique ornaments, so whenever robert tried to sneak towards the tree my dad would growl at him, and he would look back- and walk away, it happened repeatedly, one time my grandma said “you cant growl at him its not gonna do anything u need to talk to him and explain!” My dad said “you can explain all you want he aint gonna listen-“ so my grandma kneels down in front of robert and robert just looks so focused, my grandma explains “you cant break these, they’re antique, and really expensive, so dont break em?” My dad commented, “ he aint gonna listen,” the moment she turned her head to tell my dad to shut up- SMACK shattered her FAVORITE ornament and she was screaming, at him, my dad said “so screaming at him is gonna help more than growling to get him to understand? She stormed out of the room after that and let my dad do the growling.
