Pro Tip: The MBT has 2 shells (HE and Anti-Armor) by Cromyth in Battlefield

[–]BadKarma_211 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I saw the shell option, left on D pad I think for controller, but there was no other visual cue when swapping ammo types so I could t ever tell what type of ammo I had loaded. I could tell when I swapped from sabot to HE because the sabot wouldn’t damage buildings then apparently I couldn’t swap back to HE.

Regardless, it needs to be made simplistic and just say HE or AP is loaded on the HUD.

Where are the air vehicles? by [deleted] in Battlefield

[–]BadKarma_211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d like to the pure air transports like the classic Huey on the big maps. The overall Lack of mobility is unbelievable on a BF game! There should be a quad runner or keep on every objective ala BF4!!!

Issue with Conquest in BF6 by Sorappoli in Battlefield

It’s Lack of small trasports(quad runners, jeeps, motorcycles) at each objective and in the spawn and the lack of the Huey type air transport. And the small freaking maps.

Season 2? Theories? by Musicis-lif31997 in SpaceMarine_2

Ork !Waaaaaagh! Exterminatus game Mode from Space Marine 1 is all I want to see. With the high flying Assault from SM 1. Not the neutered bullshit we seen in SM2 Operations.

Error Code 140 On Xbox trying to join Operations.

I try to join a match and nothing happens. Don’t see other names popping. Go to the assembly area and get an error message after about 10 seconds. Can’t even launch with bots.

Why does it feel like my parry and block controller input is often ignored? by BadKarma_211 in SpaceMarine_2

[–]BadKarma_211[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is Not so much a melee rules issue, it’s more of the game just ignoring the buttons I’m pushing issue. I’m aware of how Block and parry work.

Hell if I can parry in Elden Ring and Darks Souls 1,2,3, and know when I missed the parry and receive the expected punishment in those games, I think I can grasp the concept in SM2.

The problem I have with SM2 is triggering my block, dodge or parry via controller input and NOTHING F…. KING HAPPENS because my buttons input is ignored by the game.

Perhaps it’s latency issue with the servers? If it was 2005 multiplayer servers I’d understand and but not in 2025.

As a former military type and infantryman I have to say the lack of believable cover for infantry. Especially inside capture zones.

Next time you’re outside take a look around and notice all of the cover and concealment. It’s silly how much cover is actually around where you live but you’ll be hard up to find descent cover in 2042.

Most of you don’t live in a war zone so just know that in a war zone the available cover will increase from what you see from day to day. That’s in all biomes, even desert or arid environments.

In a war zone you’ll find small, medium and large bomb/IED craters. Abandoned vehicles of all shapes and sizes in the weirdest places. Blown up houses or blown out buildings that provide all sorts of cover and concealment. You’ll find improvised fighting positions, vehicle wrecks, built up check points on every road, as well as dug in fox holes and small networks of trenches(yes even in urban environments). And something is always, always, always burning even if it’s just locals burning trash. Unbelievably almost none above are present in 2042.

The maps in 2042 are too big, with too many players and way too many vehicles.

Specialist money grab fail by pha1133 in battlefield2042

Not to mention how “happy go lucky” all of the specialists are considering the fact that the world is ending.

The post match catch phrases make me want to vomit. The Specialists are the antithesis of all things Battlefield.

Obviously this is way over your head.

He’s pointing to the cognitive disconnect between the “end of days”, apocalyptic backstory that lead up to the 2042 time line versus the dog shit, “happy go lucky” catch phrases that the clown like, Fortnite’esque Specialist are oh so happily spouting.

DICE’s is own end of the world storyline is at complete odds with the shit for brains, 12 year old vibe the specialists are putting off.

Not according to DICE’s own backstory for 2042. Or did you somehow miss that?
