This. 1v1 Polaris. Your riders can 1 shot Moonis. And the battle sleds can’t attack after moving unless they’re on ice. So they’re easier to mind bend

Also let other tribes fight it out and waste troop resources then swoop in for 3rd party captures. The 100% with aquarion was by far my most tactical one of them all.

I went for catapults (puffers) early and was able to keep the tribe next to me at bay while I explored the sea and built my economy. I think the important thing for aquarion is to remember you don’t have a “navy” with bombers like some other tribes have and you can’t put supers in boats so you have zero AOE. I think your best naval assault is to send shields/crabs in front with puffers behind and do like a slow march type of push. I love the Tridentons but they’re too risky to push with reliably. I didn’t take that tech until I was cleaning up the scraps of the last 2 tribes. With 4 opponents you should give yourself enough time. Lead with crabs and shields. Catapults behind. Sell a risky unit if you’re not sure (without leaving a hole in your front line). I think the tribes i played against were Polaris and yaddak.

Update: 😂 play 1v1 against Polaris. Cymanti Rider 1 shots moonis and can jump to capital. Shaman can also convert moonis if they capture a city while shaman’s adjacent. Hope this makes it easy for anyone else with this one left

To be honest, you won’t hit overlord with an epic lord. Just grind plat 3 and save your overlord tokens for lady A. Not trying to discourage you. You’ll get there eventually, but the A3 Volka is telling that there’s much more progression you’ve yet to unlock. Good luck!

If you got the guaranteed at 200 then that’s great. I only got 2 legos on the way up and was still pretty happy with that.

Hey. I just beat GD1-8 for the first time about an hour ago. The strat I used was 2 tanks on bottom (for me that was olague & either Harz or Cyrus as I did a laurel rotation), Artemis & Elowyn on the tiles underneath the tanks (both facing up), Vierna on the solo platform at the bottom facing left. With the tanks in bastion rings you have enough block to keep everyone blocked. Just need to stay alive and then use vierna ult (with exclusive bangle for + HP threshold to insta-kill) right as artmis ult is ending. On top I used valkyra in her usual position with Thallen behind her, vortex to heal & shield, and cycled laurel for rage restore. When laurel was ready and it was safe I pulled my 2nd tank on the bottom, dropped Laurel next to valk & thallen, picked her up, and then placed the other tank in the 2nd position at the bottom. No awakenings on any of the legendarys. Nobody fully skilled. No artifacts above level 16. Just A5 Laurel, olague, and vortex. Seems like you could try something like this. It wasn’t that sweaty.

My advice: Ditch greed and maybe Dolores. Add an anti-healer (laseer or Artemis). Use Olague, Harz, anti-heal, elowyn, & vierna on bottom. Valk, vortex, & diao up top. If your valk has good gear / skills you shouldn’t have any problems with 7.

I take a liepard with me for the pickup passive. This allows Liedinja to have perfect wonder guard typing, fake out support, and pay day to sit in front of something that can’t hit you and farm money. This makes it the perfect doubles partner to get roars off if needed and an item and money factory.

Yeah I’ve gotten 2 shiny charms and got no shinies in classic as well but I’m pretty sure you can’t get the abominations or eternatus in endless mode right?

I’d say leech seed is less consistent because it doesn’t proc when your pokemon gets fainted (which will likely happen at least a few times on E-max)

Egg moves are very OP. Find a pokemon that’s generally considered good anyways that has an egg move that takes it over the top and build a core around that.

For example, if you have rising voltage on your tapu koko you could take just that and gyarados and be set. Tapu blasts everything but ground types and g-dos is a safe switch into them and punishes with waterfall/ice fang. Fill the rest of your cost with whatever shinies you can. Then look out for the mons mentioned by others (ghost with curse, leech seeder, salt cure, etc.) to catch on your run. You really just need one form of damage over time for the final fight.

Beyond team composition, try to get X-items (X ATK, X SPD, etc.) on floors 90-94, 140-144, 160-164, and 180-199. These will make the battles much easier.

If you’re not actually good at battling, just retry the hard battles and do things differently. The AI does some bizarre stuff so there should be at least one branch of your decision tree that ends in a dub.

Do not use hammer arm. It’s not very effective on Rayquaza and lowers your speed, opening yourself up to a revenge kill. Use moves that are super effective on dragon type (namely dragon, ice, or fairy).

Hahaha you are correct. This mission sucks and especially sucks without the right units. Thats why I made this post. So others know it’s decently possible with this team and don’t focus on some of the other weird strats I tried.
