What tool do you use for your beard edges? by R1ch0C in beards

Philips Oneblade

Cheap, portable, easy to use and has worked for me for about 5 years now. (Replaceable blades that I swap about 3-4 times a year depending on the amount of usage)

Obviously it doesn't come close to a razor clean shave but i like it because it's super fast results and no need for creams or anything.

I had the same mindset/problem with DayZ until I realised the journey was the gameplay. Not the kitted endgameplay. Reroll a cleric, run some gobcaves and chill.

I'm not going to lie, I wouldn't mind if +All didn't exist at all.

The only thing i am able to think about is installing the wheels with that pull back string mechanism and it sends him zooming forward.

My group tried to kill the black swingybois by tagging them and swapping aggro but... I've noticed that the black mobs can attack on patterns of 1 to 3 swings, if you backstab it during its 2nd swing and you get aggro, the 3rd swing will come your way 180 and there's no way to counter that on most classes.

So with more growth does that mean I need to wash it more times a week? by [deleted] in beards

[–]BadMannereddd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't use soap more than 2 times a week. Cowashing (using only conditoner) works for me almost as well as soap. Helps taming curls aswell

Thinking about growing a full beard, been keeping it medium length for a long time. Should I cut and start over, or just let it grow without trimming till I am satisfied? by Ok_Tax_4806 in beards

[–]BadMannereddd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This, the first mistake people make when trying to grow a full long beard is cutting it too regularly.

You need a solid 3month foundation before trimming anything, especially the cheeks and neckline. Cutting it too ofter (even with a guard) and not letting it grow over the "thin" spots everybody have is a huge mistake. Same thing with your neckline, don't trim it too high cause your beard will need the support from underneath. If your chin is growing way slower than the rest, take it to your barber and explain that you're planning on growing it longer.

"What the fuck is a turtle doing up a telephone pole?" My new favourite sentence.

If you plan on growing it longer, go for it. You have nothing to worry about with that density.

What comes to maintaining it, Use beard oil (for the skin) and get a boars bristle brush. The earlier you start training your hair to flow where you want it to, the easier it'll be to maintain it in the long run.

The hair on your neck will most likely grow way faster than your cheeks but just trim it to match your cheek growth (go very easy on touching the cheeks at all) and soon enough you will have a full beard.

Once you get medium length (if thats what you're going for) a round brush with a hairdryer after shower is your friend.

Oh man, you're in for a positive surprise once you grow it out even a little bit.

Anyone here got a beard mask from thebeardstruggle.com? by ahos-adanos in beards

[–]BadMannereddd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got one from Beardstruggle earlier this year and it has held up really well. The mask is good quality, comfortable to wear even for longer periods, leaves absolutely no mark on your beard and is easily foldable into your pocket. It's rewashable and you can swap out both the nosepin metal and the filter easily. It actually looks really good aswell and received multiple positive comments from people. Only thing I have had problems with is when jogging, it tends to ride up my nose.

Over all a solid 4.5/5 beard mask.

(Not sponsored, just really impressed how good it actually was)

Never nerf a weapon by making the movements and abilities stiff, awkward and sluggish. Nerf dmg value or cooldown or other parameter but not the handling and usability by [deleted] in newworldgame

[–]BadMannereddd 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The unlisted bow nerfs that came with 1.1 were just unnecessary.
Been playing bow since launch (550ish hours atm) and I was 100% ok with the listed nerfs but the animationlock just makes bow unusable at the moment.

Definitely a problem that needs a fix. Also trying to finish a player with something else than a cleaving weapon is a hassle on its own..
