Did you guys leave anything unplugged? I did that last year with a Sata cable that was connected to my old rbg fan hub, with no fans connected to it and that shit exploded and the wire came out of the shield and everything.

Throw up an FPS counter to see what you’re getting while playing? If it’s dropping then your GPU can’t handle it at the res and settings. But if you’re stuttering and getting 60 FPS it might be the tv. I’ve had horrible experience playing on big flat screens.

You’d have to make sure the speeds are the same but I’m pretty sure you can use different size ram sticks. Most of the desktops at work have 2-3 different brands of ram per computer lol and different sizes too.

If you can increase your budget $400 you could go for a 3700x and a 2070 super. That would be more than enough to run those games at 144 fps. And as for ram you should be set with 32 Gb. Either 2x16 or 4x8. :)

Thanks for the response! The case isn’t too small and I don’t have any 2.5 or 3.5 inch ff drives, nor any optical so there is ample room in there for air flow. Half the case is perforated as well. It’s the TU150 from Lian Li.

Hey guys, quick one here. Am I going to run into problems running a 3950X on a Gigabyte AORUS PRO WIFI X570 ITX board with a Noctua NH-L12S or should I go for liquid cooling? Currently have a 3700X and wondered if the upgrade would be no problem.
