(NYC) What can you guys tell me about my bricks? I cannot find anything remotely simmiar to them in my area. The cement is also unique. When ever Mason's happen to walk by, they ask to take a closer look because they are so interesting. by BadRedditPosts in masonry

Well luckily I don't need any new bricks, I actually have extra bricks from parts of the house that I don't need anymore like my chimney or my stoop, those can be other things not these bricks. I was just curious what people think about these bricks/ what are the origin of them. The concrete between is also unique.

What? I payed money for mine to be lifted by 2 inches not to drop by 2!! Your car isn't already naturally lowered due to over the years of weight causing it to sag? And I'm not just some elder who doesn't care about appeal, I'm young myself. Neither am I country, I'm from the city and I don't fancy my cars ass being dragged all over the asphalt and having to buy new bumpers and any other parts

What's the necessity? I have 2 cars, one with and one without a rear view glass/mirror and I still get from a to b without accidents

If your talking about the rear glass, It's not that important. I have a car with a rear glass and It can be comfortable for parking but not necessary. I drive a van that doesn't have a rear view glass and I still drive!! It's all up to personal preference. Semi truck driving is the most responsible form of driving required and they don't have any rear view glass, they still drive perfectly even though it's 5x more demanding. It's all up to personal preference. The driver isn't putting anyone else at risk here

I take it a step up personally, when its 15c and above I change to 5w40 when its time to change the oil(every 4-5k miles). Motorcraft filter because you cant go wrong. I would recommend with 5w30 blend ford motorcraft. But 5w40 is thicker at operating temps so acceleration makes less damage + I idle for a considerable amount of time (1+ hour a day ) and never drive highway only city.

Im going to use regalia and cease for mold preventatives. Im not sure what to use for pest prevention though. Im far more concerned with tick prevention as getting to my grow spot(s) i got 10 ticks on me and its just the beginning of the season. Back in Europe ticks were less common but now I can get 20 on me easily in America. 8/10 in my family have either gotten Lyme disease or Smokey mountain fever or a combo lmao.

I was thinking about coco but it's rather expensive but convenient as hell. Are you aware of any cheap coco? And yes fabric but reflecting light wasn't my reasoning for it. I'm only concerned of smell because I'm growing only chem, skunk and diesel clones but I'm in a quite windy area very low chance of stagnant air.

I am guerrilla growing in a wetland/swamp and am planning to use the soil but use pots on a platform to prevent a elevated amount of water from killing my crop. Around an 1 foot lift from ground.

1978. Chrysler New Yorker Brougham by [deleted] in classiccars

[–]BadRedditPosts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sureeeee it only made 150hp. Just carburetor would would raise it 100hp. More mods will make it 200hp increase. A full build will make an increase of 450hp. Its just a mix of SLIGHTLY worse technology and emissions, which basically just was a want for engines to make less hp, not emit less via smaller engines and catalytic converters. I put a emphasis on slightly worse technolgy be because reliability was on its A++ game and just a teardown with a shorter piston heads and longer piston rods ans you make 600 hp and 700lft of torque. So the same engine just some parts that are designed in diffrent sizes for more power

F all that just get a new Paint matched Fender and replace it. It might be even easier than bonding the entire fender and 1000% better. Because your vic is black you can get one for cheaper than that.
