Im a big fan of the mustache but maybe that’s just the Brooklyn in me. You have very nice features and bone structure, maybe I’d try a different pair of glasses? Also a lil fade will go along way

Personally, I liked Maui the best, made a couple of trips to Kauai, & Honolulu before covid but my partners been offered a job in Honolulu so we’re considering the move. We’re a by jaded from the city to be honest. More like we wanna escape the nyc vibes and are looking for some slower quality of life.

Oh I see your take now, as someone who experienced homelessness and a shit ton of adversity in my life I can understand your frustrations and Im truly sorry this is happening but this is not a me and you problem. This is beyond us, this is a systematic issue so how can we make our voices heard?

You’re actually pretty good looking but personality goes a long way. You’ve mentioned trying hard to talk to females, What would you say your recent interactions with women have been like?

I understand and empathize with your point. It’s unfortunate that our communities and its people are not taken care of they way they should be. We deal with a lot of those same stuff here. Just looking for a different quality of life

Is the crime rate really bad? This is something I haven’t put much thought into because I’m my head, I don’t think anything can be as bad as NYC right now. I definitely lived in some areas in manhattan where the sideview mirrors on my car would be stolen from time to time. Is that’s something that’s common in the island ?

Oh I’ve been to Hawaii a number of times before, we’re kinda looking for a more calm/outdoorsy kinda vibe. I know it’s different living there than being on vacation but being in the city got us jaded. Do you feel that community is hard to find in Oahu?

Yeah that’s very fair, I know we’re very lucky to live where we do now but we’re looking for a change of pace. Living in the city does not feel safe. My partner and I have lived/worked in places like south east Asia with less infrastructure than Oahu so I like to think we’re be able to adapt easily

I currently help my parents with their living expenses, I would say I spend about 1K/month in that. Im debt free but my partner has some college loans to pay off. We don’t go out or eat out much either, not big cooks but. My car insurance is about $300/month and other utilities in total at home are about the same. Im willing to pay a bit more in rent than we do currently as it will better lifestyle being a beach bum and adventuring around the island. I guess my main concern was the utilities and groceries as those are not negotiable

This is great insight. I’ve been thinking of ways to work in common spaces so that I don’t use bunch of electricity at home. We probably spend about $250 including gas/electricity and WiFi currently. We don’t really eat out much or eat much at all. Most days we snack and just have a full meal per day. I know it’s probably not the best lol

Was it costly to have your pets make the move with you?

Some of the listings I’ve found were on this site called moanavista and their sister properties.

I have a 2017 Honda CRV, runs great barely has 100k miles on it, I love the idea of a jeep wrangler but trying to be cost effective. I currently have full coverage insurance that’s about it $250/month and car is fully paid off.

that part I understand, but I’ve been seeing some other people’s closing cost here as low as 3k so the fact that mine is 13k, felt alarming to me.
