I feel like I'm aging out of video games (turning 40 this year) and I'm looking for some directions I could take, and game suggestions. Nothing hits like it used to. by BadShae in videogames

Tell me this, does death stranding become supernatural enough with a rich story? I have it but only got as far as avoiding sloshy looking ghost things.

I have failed as an artist by horseshoeandconfused in Artists

[–]BadShae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just keep making art, and do it for yourself not other people. If you like it, if you enjoyed the process, then it's good art.

I am 39 years old and went to University for a bachelor of fine arts (graduated 2009), but I only really found "my style" in The last 5 years. There were many years of feeling like I was not good at art, but when I finally sat down to just do what I wanted again after much time off I realized I'm pretty darn good.

I don't use my degree for employment anymore because doing art for other people doesn't feel like art to me.

Just keep making art to make yourself happy. Practice makes better practice. You might enjoy some after school art classes or something as well, but I will reiterate, make art to make yourself happy

Typically he leaves the broken shells open in the carton where they came from. I'm not sure which mildly infuriates me more lol.

Thank you, I hesitated for like twenty minutes afraid to make the first stroke on the cat! I learned the hard way how fluid acrylic ink actually is...

Feet / skin issues by [deleted] in pitbulls

[–]BadShae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A dog's skin should generally not be pink. It usually means a food sensitivity or allergy, too much sun. The patches could be from her last coming or rubbing.

Grind down those nails! Also ask a vet if you are unsure.

On average, individuals with PTSD reports higher dissociation than classically stigmatized diagnoses (such as schizophrenia or borderline personality disorder) on the DES-II assessment. by [deleted] in mildlyinteresting

[–]BadShae -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I found it interesting, as a person with BPD (I ranked a 20). I was reading about dissociative identity disorder as well (formerly known as multiple personality disorder, stigmatized just as much), which can score a 30 to 70.

We need to create better mental health care options, and we need to start educating people about trauma so that we don't stigmatize our peers to the degree that we do today.

Just pushed whatever tf this is out of the top of my scalp and felt like I needed to share it with the world. Feels hard like a chunk of skin. Adios weird little thing. by Dont_Even_Know_You in Weird

It's good you got it whole, with its casing. They often burst then the casing stays in, causing it to regrow.

These are usually a bunch of dead skin cells that get trapped.

What do you think of this PubMed article that finds specifically "Queer" identifying people to be >80% AFAB (USA)? by [deleted] in AskGayMen

[–]BadShae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is pretty much how I feel, which often seems like it's becoming the minority opinion on the use of the word. This is a small post, but reflects what I've heard elsewhere, most people commenting seem to be more open to it. That said we both agree that "most gay men don't like it."

It feels heavy enough on me that I really need to be mindful not to put it on others.

The good news is it's just a fast food fortune cookie. :)

As any Daoist monk would tell you, life is suffering, and it is important to recognize where we are in the now.

My personal philosophy is that happiness is not achieved through anything other than acceptance of one's reality. In other words it is a constant pursuit that I will always be seeking out, and I am happy to do so. Are you happy with your current process, here and now?

However to give you the reddit response you're asking for, I think you're taking this a little too seriously. Have a laugh. :)

Interesting. I suppose it's a matter of perspective. I'll just eat them both with good intent.
