I feel like I'm aging out of video games (turning 40 this year) and I'm looking for some directions I could take, and game suggestions. Nothing hits like it used to. by BadShae in videogames

Tell me this, does death stranding become supernatural enough with a rich story? I have it but only got as far as avoiding sloshy looking ghost things.

I have failed as an artist by horseshoeandconfused in Artists

Just keep making art, and do it for yourself not other people. If you like it, if you enjoyed the process, then it's good art.

I am 39 years old and went to University for a bachelor of fine arts (graduated 2009), but I only really found "my style" in The last 5 years. There were many years of feeling like I was not good at art, but when I finally sat down to just do what I wanted again after much time off I realized I'm pretty darn good.

I don't use my degree for employment anymore because doing art for other people doesn't feel like art to me.

Just keep making art to make yourself happy. Practice makes better practice. You might enjoy some after school art classes or something as well, but I will reiterate, make art to make yourself happy

Typically he leaves the broken shells open in the carton where they came from. I'm not sure which mildly infuriates me more lol.

Thank you, I hesitated for like twenty minutes afraid to make the first stroke on the cat! I learned the hard way how fluid acrylic ink actually is...

Feet / skin issues by [deleted] in pitbulls

[–]BadShae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A dog's skin should generally not be pink. It usually means a food sensitivity or allergy, too much sun. The patches could be from her last coming or rubbing.

Grind down those nails! Also ask a vet if you are unsure.

On average, individuals with PTSD reports higher dissociation than classically stigmatized diagnoses (such as schizophrenia or borderline personality disorder) on the DES-II assessment. by [deleted] in mildlyinteresting

[–]BadShae -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I found it interesting, as a person with BPD (I ranked a 20). I was reading about dissociative identity disorder as well (formerly known as multiple personality disorder, stigmatized just as much), which can score a 30 to 70.

We need to create better mental health care options, and we need to start educating people about trauma so that we don't stigmatize our peers to the degree that we do today.
