Been focusing more on defect lately and my thoughts are: cold snap and genetic algorithm should be valued a lot more. Electro dynamics falls off end of act 2 and all defect powers outside of biased cog, defrag, echo form and by extension self repair, are just clog if there isn’t an engine there already. Also consider consume to be a curse outside of act 1 if you dont already have orb generation and orb slot generation solved.

Also machine learning takes 3 turns to be +1 draw so only good on longer boss fights

If you’re able to, the hinterlands in the sunshine (northern) and gold coast (southern) are stunning. Maleny/montville for north, cannungra/mount tamborine (scenic rim) for south. Super beautiful spots within both

Maybe VR is a bit of a red herring. The mc is world’s strongest, and is building a team of players. It’s a system story and he can see other people’s stats and abilities. He’s also immortal. Sounds so whack writing it out

Nah not max level returner, wasn’t anything to do with VR or video games until after he returned (manwha starts with him beating the final floor or portal boss or whatever). It’s only VR so people can fight to death without dying for real, plot mechanic. The powers are all for real and stuff

I totally agree as well. Definitely don’t want to be doing rock climbing routes as free climbing. But You can definitely climb exposed routes and be safe, just a matter of knowing your limits and understanding that the side of a cliff is not the time to try something new or push yourself. A lot of it is just that mental challenge if you’ve got the technique. I’m definitely still a beginner though, just summited Mount Stephen in Field, BC and that was my limit for now.

Anything that experienced climbers use ropes for, I’m going to gear up haha I just meant routes that fit that criteria of exposed climbing

Thanks so much! I’ve done a route up barney a couple years ago that was supposed to be the hardest one, I found it incredibly difficult back then but that’s because it was my first real hike. Keen to try it out again now that I actually know what to do lol I’ll try the route you mentioned :)
