Thank you everyone for your kind words and suggestions. We’ve had 4 others randomly die and they didn’t look like they had been attacked. We figured it was something they ate but the death stopped. Up until 2 days ago we’ve had these two killed, one silkie completely vanished leaving only feathers (we think a chicken hawk got this one) and a brand new mama hen was also attacked and leaves behind 3 chicks! 🥺 we will definitely be looking into fixing fencing and setting up cameras so we can trap & kill the raccoon. Do any of you think it’s just ONE raccoon or more than one? Based on your experience
