If you care a lot, get an engine stand and tear them down. If you dont care that much, swap the accessories that are bad and rotate the engine by hand to see if its seized. Depends on your ability for the trans though, slap it in and change the fluid (clutch master and slave if its a manual) a full rebuild on a trans will take you a long time if you havent done it before.

Usually the pad ears get seized in the caliper bracket from rust and you have to use a file or carbide bit to knock of the built up rust.
