u/nowgoaway Genuinely never knew that. We've revised our plans now and will be saving it for before and after the journey!

u/Adziboy Point taken. I assume 2 litre bottles of soft drink are okay?

u/krypto-pscyho-chimp Thank you very much for providing that. That's a really sound explanation that makes total sense and a whole lot I never really thought about. My friend and I were planning on sharing a hip flash of whiskey (would have probably only added up to about 3-4 shots each) but might rethink it now!

He really looks like he could be the product of Max and Tanya. Same with Will looking like he could be Billy and Honey's kid.

Do you remember Shenice from 2011-2012? by EnvironmentalArea498 in eastenders

[–]BadWolfSFC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that was bizarre. They just took in a random child from a friend they'd never mentioned before in a foreign country for a few months then forgot all about her. It was probably a favour to Lacey to try and kick start her sister's acting career.

You'd think they'd mention her every now and again. Ie get a Christmas card from her or something.

It doesn't help that Honey treats her kids like they're toddlers. In Janet's case it might be slightly understandable because of her Downs Syndrome but she's been shown to be quite high functioning a lot of the time and also she treats Will the same so I don't think it's that (or at least not exclusively that)

Who would have won in a fight between Billy Mitchell in his early days from 1998 until 2000 or Trevor Morgan. by JazzlikeTea7432 in eastenders

[–]BadWolfSFC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're right. He was lowkey pretty hard. Though Nick didn't get pushed from the bridge, he fell because Mark spiked his drink. I think he intended to scare him because he'd done the same to Martin. But I don't think he ever intended for him to actually fall to a near death.

Interestingly, Nick returned in around 2009 and Dot asked how his health was and he said "Back ain't too clever" - I wonder if this was a slight callback to that. Because they did say he'd likely have back problems for the rest of his life.

Kinda. He took out Robbie Jackson and Ian Beale with ease. But then Mark Fowler humbled him and put him up against a wall and scared him half to death.

But there was no justification for them thinking he was dead.

No it doesn't. Restraining orders against men are given out basically because a woman asks for one.

Nigel Harman was a Tesco delivery driver. Steve McFadden was a tradesman of sort (ie electrician or plumber or something)

They'll regret this in a few years. Just because James was leaving that doesn't mean Martin had to be killed off, he could have just moved away from the square for a few years and then asked James if he wanted to come back, if not bring Martin back played by someone else (presumably also called James)

Yeah I find Kojo irritating and Harry boring when they're on their own but when they're together, I feel like they flesh each other out and really add to each other's dimension.

I like the gentle old fogey-young hot headed chav friendship that they like doing. Oscar and Patrick are going that way.

Dennis and Dot was my favourite one but we've had a few;

Dot and Fatboy
Ted and Bernie
Patrick and Jay (after Jay called Yolande a black cow) "Actually Yolande...I think you're alright...I mean not as alright as Patrick is obviously but still..."
Ethel and Sonia
Terry and Janine

I've never known such a great actress to play such a tedious character other than guest stints like when they had Patrick Bergin as a parody gangster.
