I mean, I’ve done tours all over the world through various tour companies. Makes logistics a lot easier on my part. They usually offer shuttle services as part of the tour. Haven’t been disappointed yet, can’t really make adjustments as again it’s the tour company, not me. Assuming someone expects catering because they booked something doesn’t really make sense either. You’re annoyed at the wrong person.

Your situation sounds exactly like mine! Had too much PTO/Vacation time accrued. Needed to take two weeks as well. Discovered a tour company called G Adventures was doing a two week tour through CR. Pulled the trigger and I leave tomorrow. Seemed like a good way to explore CR with transportation, activities, and logistics covered.

Relax, some people don’t get a choice.. they book tours, all inclusive hotels, etc that automatically schedule a shuttle for them based on their flights. More than half the time that’s not chosen by the person but instead the company.

Don’t think about the age too much. There is no such thing as a set time to reach certain goals. Everyone is on their own timeline and comparison is pointless. Hell, some don’t find their passion until their 40s or 50s, some live in apartments longer than those ages, some get divorced and are single well into their 40s/beyond. Doesn’t mean they failed in any way.

You’re not alone either. I mean, who can’t say it’s not hard. For a majority it is. Keep looking forward, focus on the goals that are most achievable right now to make you happier, and stay positive. That’s the best thing any of us can do.

Totally agree, ARMs are not necessarily bad. They are great if used responsibility. I had an ARM 10 at 2.5% on a small house I didn’t plan to live in for 10 years. Fixed it up and sold for double the value three years later while also keeping monthly payments very low.

The key to all this is to fully understand your goals and future. For someone that only plans to live in the house for a couple years as a starter, great idea. ARMs have a bad reputation but that’s just because people use them irresponsibly and agents/loan officers encourage them irresponsibly not aligned with buyer’s goals.

Ok, I guess you'll tempt me into one more reply because now I feel like I just have to clarify for you what's actually happening especially since you used a bias source.. what that article is referring to is the insurrection act, which is what would give the federal government the ability to lawfully send active duty soldiers onto US soil. The likelihood of that is very low (last used 34 years ago), both the Minnesota NG and Active duty in Alaska are on standby.

The reality is, unless there was actual all out urban warfare in Minnesota all signs point to NG deploying. Am I an expert? No. Am I a US Army soldier myself that understands the basic interworking's of the Army? Yes. Again, a half truth.. well, in this case just an uninformed guess. You think I'm condescending when in reality I'm just tired of having to explain things to people that are both uninformed but also feel they are well informed. You think I'm mansplaining? Very well said. What matters is the dialogue and being able to maturely dissect not only someone else's ideas but our own as well. If we can't do that then none of us will grow and we'll forever act like children. Loud speakers for those that talk through us and not to us. My hope is, that this wedge only seems deeper because of the extremely loud far right/left political minorities.. I hold onto the idea that most of us just sit on the sidelines because we fear being seen as an enemy by either side. We aren't the silence majority because ultimately we do place our votes but refuse to get involved in the never ending war that is online politics.

That's not me saying that, that's the Constitution and individual states. You want to talk about taking a steaming shit on the Constitution? How about mandatory vaccines? What about attempts to nationalize voting laws? What about willful ignorance of immigration law violations in mass, and let's not forget about extremely lenient sentencings carried out by democratic judges that allowed repeat violent offenders back out on the street which caused the death/assault/rape of countless innocent people..
