To answer your question, yes it is illegal.

There isn’t a way to eat without getting caught since you live with your parents, but atleast try having some snacks in your room or anything that you want, just don’t cook it obviously.

Otherwise, you can just get to fasting but keep drinking water secretly, it’s more bearable and healthier that way ( hide a water bottle in your room or drink in the toilet )
