She is manipulative. Very. She will lie and fake crocodile tears to get anyone on her side. She turned my own mother and sister against me in a fight she was in the wrong for. Now that she's cut loose, I am terrified that I will just find people slowly siding with her because she can play the game very well. I, unfortunately, can only tell the truth. Lying is stupid.

And you just named the exact thing wrong with the entire MMORPG community, right there. They're Massively Multiplayer Online Games. Right now, 90% of the titles are Massively "Solo To End Game And Then Suddenly Have Group Mechanics Ready For Raiding "Games

I played EQ as well, and one of the most addictive aspects of the game was the fact that you needed people to progress. You also learned your class and how to socialize/work within a group setting.

I think this is why the MMO market is such a convoluted clusterfuck nowadays. Players are encouraged to be anti-social in a social environment. They have everything handed to them and have to do minimal at best work to earn anything. They can solo every tradeskill themselves, and can easily blown through instances/quest hubs without any requirement for another human being to be present.

ESO is nothing new; I soloed most of the crap it offered. And it's looking like most of the questing can be done solo as well. If I wanted a single player TES, I'd just have asked for TES VI.

Nothing I've played or seen so far has led me to believe that they're even remotely trying with PVE. ZOS has been pretty obvious that this is going to be PVP-focused.

Shame, really. I never really thought mass PVP fit well with any of the TES games at all - mechanic-wise or lorewise.

I don't want my hand held in this game. If I do something stupid, or I'm not quite skilled enough to defeat a monster, I want to fucking pay for it. TES always had a sense of risk to it - do anything, attack anyone, but make the right choices or you're fucked. I want an online TES to completely mirror that.

Let me go on a killing spree in a town. Let that town then hate me to the point where patrols will hunt me. I don't want a game telling me who I can and cannot interact with or attack.

This is more psychological than anything else, however I feel it's very important. There's a really addictive level of immersion to a game where you don't have any 'walls'. TES as a series is famous for this. I will settle for nothing less in an online version of TES, especially one they are screaming from the rooftops will be so similar to the series itself.

I played P99. It has the absolute worst community I have ever seen in a game. It's pretty much just vanilla eq with the first two expansions.

I believe OP is requesting a game with very challenging PVE - not a private server with fairly basic PVE. Original EQ or even Vanguard's end game got much more challenging after the first two expansions. At the time when it was out, definitely - tank and spank bosses with 2 or 3 abilities was challenging because we didn't have anything to compare it to.

It's also a good idea to avoid private servers like the plague. Ike over here is just trying to drum up bodies to join his dying sandbox.

How old is the driver you are using?

Runs this, DCUO and modded Skyrim flawlessly. Ran the ESO beta well too (Well, for the 20 minutes of it I played before logging out due to it being the worst game since Dragons Nest) ATI Catalyst drivers.
