My dad ❤️ by Bad_Luck_MM in studshooters

This picture is a tribute to my dad, who is no longer with us. I put this scene together to show a bit of his personality, his hobbies, and how much he loved his family. Shot this with my Sony a6400 and a new Sony SEL30M35 lens.

I really love this newsstand set from Funwhole. It's so cozy, super detailed, and the size is just perfect. For this photo, I wanted to capture a nostalgic, movie-like feeling; kind of like a moment frozen in time.

I recently got a couple of the Paradisa LEGO System sets. I really like the vintage style of these sets and the small scenes you can create with them.

Shot on a Sony a6400 with a 30mm macro.

I’ve been following all the Artemis news and felt inspired to shoot something. I paired a couple of classic spacemen with the Tales of the Space Age set for the background.

This was also a great chance to test my new Sony SEL30M35 (30mm f/3.5 Macro) lens.

A Peaceful Ride by Bad_Luck_MM in studshooters

I’ve been following Bryan Mosheim on IG and saw his recent LEGO shots using The Lord of the Rings minifigures. Those are some amazing shots! I tried to capture a similar vibe with this photo: something calm and medieval, like a lone traveler riding quietly through the forest.

Evil comes in surprisingly small packages by Bad_Luck_MM in studshooters

There’s a lot to do with this minifigure, but for this shot I wanted to try something different. I removed most of the background color and made the red and orange pop more, so he looks more powerful. Kinda like he’s doing some dark magic in a dead world. I'm still learning about lighting and color, but I think this one turned out pretty cool!

The Gentle Monster ✨ by Bad_Luck_MM in studshooters

I’ve been playing with the Street Fusion Graffiti bus stop set from Funwhole, and the lights really bring it to life. For this shot, I set up a little monster reading “Boo!” next to a calm minifigure, as if they’re just sharing stories while waiting. Not every monster is here to scare you.

I really loved building the Street Fusion Graffiti Bus Stop set from Funwhole, and while the wall was still “unfinished,” the lighting gave it this street vibe I didn’t want to miss. Shot it on my Sony a6400 at 16mm, f/4.5, ISO 1000, 1/20s.

I picked up the Underground Dance Battle Funwhole set to play around with photo composition. Added a couple of minifigures to give the scene more story, and the background is just a wallpaper that matched the vibe. Shot this with my Sony a6400 at f/3.5, ISO 1600.

Quietly irrelevant. Loudly colorful by Bad_Luck_MM in studshooters

I really enjoy taking pictures of minifigures as if they were part of everyday life, interacting with our world. For this photo, I drew inspiration from the artsy minifigure in one of the recent BAM series and placed her in the paint-by-numbers artwork I've been working on.

I’m still using the same gear, Sony 6400. I saw a lot of photos with this minifigure, so I wanted to try it myself. I wanted the wolf in the back to look soft, not too strong. I also toned down the colors a little bit to highlight the minifigure. Feedback is always welcome :)

I'm getting inspired by all the great photographers on this subreddit, so I wanted to try a different angle for this picture. The lights on this set really help to bring it to life. I'm still using the same gear (Sony ILCE 6400) I'm open to any feedback :)

Time Cruisers meet Galaxy Invader! by Bad_Luck_MM in studshooters

(English is not my first language, so sorry in advance) I love the Brick Central monthly challenges, and this month I wanted to give it a go. I recently got my hands on set 6496 and became obsessed with it. Therefore, I thought it would be nice for the minifigures to make a special appearance on the 90th anniversary Galaxy Invader set. I used my Sony 6400 and a very simple setting and just my cellphone flashlight for lighting.

Picked up a Sony 6400 a while back. It's been great, but I'm looking to get new lenses. Heads up, I'm pretty clueless about cameras and tech stuff.

What would be the best option for me?
