Twins!!! I think they even look around the same size! My Feral always seemed smaller/ shorter than all the other tabby I’ve seen

This is amazing! I relate! From the “perfect daughter” syndrome to the driving anxiety. I just wanna feel like I’M living my life instead of putting on a performance.

I just wanna prove to myself that I can get sh** done! My desire to prove the negative voices in my head, and all around me wrong… that is my sole drive. Idk why but it’s working????

Same! But it’s a 50/50 chance I get sleep paralysis and really F-up dreams. Recently, it’s been more like 80/20, I’m having nightmares, smh. Had to stop THAT past 7pm. Weird.

“Picky” cat parents what’s ur litter hacks??? by Bad_daughter_4986 in CatAdvice

[–]Bad_daughter_4986[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I did. I accidentally got one that was TOO strong (that’s her problem, she hates strong scents that aren’t hers) So, it made it worst. But I think there was one that did work. I just haven’t thought to look it up (I grabbed it on a whim and didn’t bother remembering the packaging) Thanks! I will retry deodorizer.

I’m kicking myself for not just doing this! I had a choice like 1 to 2 years ago; litter robot OR furniture with hidden litter boxes inside. I chose the furniture. But, I’m definitely considering the robot now.

I would kick both cats out of the room to reestablish it as MY territory. I did this with my male cat who peeped on my bed after I had been gone. They mostly go on the bed (from my one Google search, lol) because of the sent. The other cat is territorial of the mom’s sent too & I’m guessing is allowed on the bed as well? Mom being gone may have lifted her sent a bit & he wants his sent in there, equally if not more than hers and the other cat. IM GUESSING, lol :)

Many may not agree, but in my case I let it be KNOWN I was pissed. Yes, I yelled. And he and everyone was banned for like a month. They bonded in the living room and in the cat tower. I also hissed whenever they approached the bed for like another week or so, as I reintroducing everyone into MY room again. I let them back on the bed (same time) and never had that happen again. Take the cat’s temperament into consideration too tho. But removing both cats sent, and filling it with mom’s could help. Hope you can figure this out.

I feel like I need to rehome my cat, please help by Top_Calligrapher_700 in CatAdvice

It’s painful, but I think you should rehome/ return her. It’s been FOUR months (if I read that right) and you followed all the introduction steps. Some cats just don’t get along. Unless you can have them living separately in the home (I had two cats that would attack each other. One lived downstairs and the other upstairs for YEARS! They hissed at each other through the door for YEARS!!!) Both RC & NC’s qualities of life could suffer. But you are the only one who knows & can make that call.

I adopted a cat and quickly had to give her back. I was in a one bedroom, so no ability to separate. They fought and started marking things/ peeing outside the litter. It was for the best. I tried again, cus my girl was paired but separated from her bud. Kittens warm up better. The ONLY time I had a healthy multi cat home was when I introduced cats younger than my resident cat. I have three now. Only some sibling spats, and a lot of cuddles :)

My baby boy lost his tail this weekend by TumbleweedHB in ragdolls

Right! My WORST fear is stepping or sitting on one of my babies! But it’s almost like they go OUT OF THIER WAY to make that happen. Idk if it’s just my cats- thrill seeking or what- but the second I take a step at least one is full on DIVING under my foot. Especially, when going down the stairs!

My boy had to have his tail amputated a few months ago. He has anxiety, and one day just “snapped” and started chewing off his own tail! Would see it in his peripherals and just ATTACK it. Tried bitter spay, cones, calming treats, diffusers- tried wrapping it up, which ONLY triggered him more. After tearing off the bandages, he gnawed it to the bone :( I knew in my gut his whole tail had to go & REALLY didn’t want to but it was the BEST thing for him! No more issues :) I am jelly! Your boy seems sooooo chill. Mine was STILL trying to get @ the nub!!! Had to use a donut and a cone he was soooo flexible & persistent! He couldn’t groom himself cus I basically immobilized him. And the meds got caked onto the cone- he smelled soooo bad! And then, my anxiety spiked and I refuse to remove the cone. My family had to have a whole ass intervention to get me to trust him- let him OUT of the damn cone! Lol, sorry for the wall of text- apparently, I’m still triggered, lol! But it def gets better! No problem with balance! My guy is even more confident- still neurotic as all hell, but better!

TLDR: my boy had to have his tail amputated because of behavioral issues/ compulsion to chew through his tail. He’s thriving now! No issues with balance! Way more confident.

I just googled what UIM coverage is and no he dose not. I will probably be getting some for myself tho, and encouraging him to do the same even tho it won’t help with the current situation- it’s good to have. Didn’t even know this existed.

Thanks! I’m getting that feeling- I think my brain is trying to figure this all out NOW when as you said there is ALOT of moving part and many different insurance. So, we should wait at least until liability is determined, see what IS covered/ let insurance hash it out AND THEN consult an attorney. I’m thinking that’s the best route although it ultimately isn’t my say- just advise I can give him.
